Hey guys, the time is almost here to complete the blackout of my truck (wheels are the only silver left).

I am gonna go with 275/70/18 Cooper ST Maxx for the tires (just over 33"), and install Bilstein 5100's on top setting.

My question to you guys is, what wheel offset would look best with this combo? I wan't them to stick out past the fenders, but not TOO much.

The two most common options that I see when looking online are +18 and +25.

Will the +18's stick out too much and look goofy or would it look good? (I don't plan on adding fender flares).

Anyone have pics from the rear or the front with 275/70/18's and either one of these offsets?

Open to suggestions on which rims to go with (must be mostly black).

Nice thanks for the links! Have browsed through the wheel and tire setups thread and there are a few with similar setups but cant really tell how much they stick out. Def a good starting point for deciding what rims I want though!

Sounds like +18 or +25 will both be fine and not stick out TOO much. I think it would take a negative offset to give me the extra wide look that I want to avoid.

Think I'll probably go with +18.

Thanks for the input as always!

I'd go with +18 or +20. It sits just right with no fender flares, in my opinion.

Thanks, looking at a few different +18's now. Was thinking about going with the Method "NV"s, but the Method "Mesh" look pretty good as well. Here's a pic of them on a white tundra, what you guys think?

I have 18 mm offset wheels. I've chosen this offset because I really wanted to get pocket style fender flares. I would not have gotten this offset if I were not planning to get the flares. Without the flares, I think tires stick out too far and will likely damage your side.

Here is a picture of my wheel with stock tires (275/65/18) with no flares.

Here is a picture with same wheel with 295/70/18 Trail Grapplers with fender flares.

I'll have to pull one of my new wheels off to measure back spacing to figure out the offset but with the 35/12.50/18 tires I just put on they stick out a lot... Looks good I think but my not be for everyone.

Thanks for the pics and info guys, may have to look into +25's instead which would suck because my first 2 rim choices only come in +18. Definitely don't want them to stick TOO far out though. I like the standards and double standards but I dont want something alot of people already have in my area. Got fuel hostage rims when they first came out on my 06 Tundra because nobody had them at the time (didnt want to jump on the rockstar hype) and 2 months later every lifted truck in town had em. Hoping to avoid that this time.

I've got a +20 offset with a 305/70r18 and don't think that they stick out much at all, maybe an inch or less. Cooper has the size listed as a 35"/12.4". You probably can't go wrong with an 18 or 20 offset.

For what ever it's worth, I think a truck rim should have exposed lug " NUTS"
Without lug nut caps or covers, that get lost or damaged.
But what do I know, I once owned a Chevy and a Ford. What was I thinking ?? I tried the rest now own the Best !

Not +18. The ones I have are +18. Those Motos stick out a little more.

What width tires do you have? These were your rims!! Lol. You should know what offset they are. New tires are 35/12.50/18

Hmm. Saw some pics of a truck with +25 offset wheels on 275/70/18 and really like the look. Sticks out just enough IMO, but since the rims I want only come in +18 think I'll go with those. Since we are only talking just over a quarter inch difference I think I will be fine and still have the look I want.
