So funny! I used to keep my wife’s car pretty cherry. One day she got into a small fender bender. I popped it out and thinking it would only be temporary anyways. We got the check to get it repaired we only had to come up with our $500 deductible. I was kind of a dick and stood my ground about the $500. I wanted her to split it with me. We waited so long that the check became out dated. We got another check and she cashed it and that was the end of that LOL. The car was perfect, now it’s got a slightly dented driver side front fender. I keep waxed though! She doesn’t even really care. She says it’s not that bad it gives it character. OK babe you got it.

This. Everyone complaining about having only 31 usable gallons when us pre-2016 owners would LOVE to be able to go more than 350 miles without filling up.

I think Shell and others are 30-40 cents higher than Costco.

actually that is a good question.

it just depends if you 1/2 fill and the price goes up when you do your next 1/2 fill.

and vice versa. if you of a full fill and next time it goes down in price.

Well, that's a whole other concept. Now we're getting into futures, and if you can predict that kind of stuff you should get into hedge fund management and become a millionaire.

lol true but usually you I can find a gas station in town that is a little slow on changing gas pricing.

I goto 1 station usually and its always 1-2 days behind the other main stream stations since this one is off the main road in town.

Me 2. It’s CA pricing. Lol. Wonder if it’s higher in other parts of the country?

Oh and Diesel now cost more than gas. So any fuel economy is poof gone.

I would not be surprised if CA, especially in The Bay Area is the highest in the country.

On the airplane it uses more fuel to carry fuel because of the weight. So we will only put what we need instead of filling up. To save fuel...

Not sure if 38 gallons would matter though. Probably not the same thing.

That is a valid point. I'm sure it's fairly negligible in our trucks, though.

Theres always from what ive seen a 5 gallon reserve and there is a baffel in the tank-to keep the fuel at the pump due to driving and splashing around no lose of fuel or air in the line. Manufactures have to put the fill up earlier b/c lets face people will run it to empty. And some people idle or remote start quite a bit which eats up fuel in these trucks.

As for my 08 CM. I got down to 23.5 gallons for fill up but it was nerve racking.

MTE just turns to an amber “Low Fuel” warning when you go past 0 miles to empty. Wished it went negative or something so you can know how far you’ve gone after 0.

Yes, Im am sure it is near zero. A couple of lbs wouldnt do anything.

More of a tongue in cheek comment, you know, backing up the attendants origional question.
