Any recommendations in the Denver area on a Line-X dealer. Looking for my '18 CM. Also, the truck is always garaged, so is the basic liner enough over the premium?

Go basic and spend the rest on mods.

I went to Line-X Denver and I have a couple of suggestions.

    1. Consider getting the bolts done like the factory bedliner. They don't ask.
    2. Make sure they don't put their Line-X warranty badge on your truck bed, unless you want it on there. I didn't want it and they don't ask.
    3. Tell them that Mountain States Toyota referred you and see if they will charge you $450.00. That's what I paid. Thought it was a good deal.
    4. You can ask for Drew, he offers a discount as soon as you say you were referred.

    They do a great job.

    Good luck!

Premium. Less fading with the UV protection.

FYI, the "premium" is UV protectant to preserve the colour. Garaged or not, the black will fade over time. It will fade less and more slowly with the "premium" UV protectant than without. So... depends on whether you want to keep it black black as long as possible, or okay with it fading to flat MGM grey.

Went with the Premium for peace of mind. Think it was about $650, in San Diego.

I beat the crap out of my bedliner from them it has held up well. But I agree that stupid warranty plaque is retarded don’t allow it. I have a general policy about lawn plaques (roofing etc), license plates, and dealer stickers: “you want to put it on? Ok than I want a marketing discount” no. Save your crap, or watch me throw it in your trash can. (When I bought my truck at Groove and they took it back for detailing I said perfect take all your logos off.

Would I need the premium UV resistant if its going to be inside a Topper all the time?

Anyone who used regular Line-X with a topper chime in and let me know how it held up??

    Thanks

If it’s under a cover it may not be worth the extra money. The premium seems to be the way to go for its stain resisting properties. (Resistant not proof) and its color is very nice too

I got premium here in OR and paid $620. I also was going to tell them to not put the stupid warranty badge/plaque on but completely forgot. Does anyone know if you can just pull it off?

I just pulled mine off the other day. It was really stuck on there and left some foam adhesive residue. I’m pretty sure it will come off though.

You can always try and mask the area off and spray it black so it blends in be sure to pic a shade that matches so you don’t end up gloss on matte etc.

I recently went to Line-X of Colorado Springs. Price was right around $500 for standard Line-X. They did an excellent job on the bed of my double cab 2018 MGM Tundra. One of their employees accidentally bent the key to my truck during the job and the owner of the company was very professional and took care of the issue no questions asked. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I went with the basic when I had mine done. After talking with owner he said the basic under a tonneau cover shouldn't fade for quite some time and the premium wouldn't really benefit me. He did say the premium cleans easier then the basic though if that matters at all. The badge and a window sticker must be standard procedure for all line-x dealers, they don't ask and just slap it on. I pulled the sticker on the back window off in the parking lot, thankfully if was raining so didn't stick too well.

I never understood why people put premium inside of a bed. If you are putting Line-X somewhere on the outside of your truck where it is easily visible, then sure, I can see wanting to go premium to keep it looking nicer. But in the bed? Most people aren't going to see inside of your bed anyway. Heck, half the time I have my bed filled up with something that covers my Line-X up anyway.

I personally mod my truck for me. I see the inside my truck bed. That's the reason why I didn't only get color-matched premium line x, but also beautified the engine bay. I am funny that way.

I went with premium. It still looks new a year later. Mine is uncovered and I park outside. I payed $600 out the door. I haggled a little to get that price.
