What is the best way to dry off the truck after a hand wash? I tried using the leaf blower and that didn’t cut it. So I find myself driving quickly to the local car wash to use there dryer. Never been a huge fan of chamois and probably because I wasn’t it using it right. Just reaching out for thoughts and ideas. I hate getting the water marks on my chrome grill and windows!

Personally, I use MF towels. I take one and wipe it down, ring it out, again, then grab a couple of other fresh ones. They absorb water pretty well.

Chamois if used right won’t leave any streaks. That’s all I use. Need to get a good one and store it correctly.

Adams Detail spray on the wet car and then MF towel can help with streaks. My gallon has lasted years so do not use too much.

I use as chamois real quick over the whole truck. I just make sure I clean it before and after every use. Then I go over it with a giant microfiber drying towel. Then I hit the door jams with a beach towel. When I had trouble with hard water in the past I used to use some stuff called wax as you dry. I don’t worry about water spots too much because I always use a quick detailer or quick wax after each wash.

My neighbors probably think I look like a maniac by how many times I run around my truck LOL

Leaf blower to get most water off. I don’t recommend blades as thy can scratch your paint.

I can't afford Stihl... Take that back, I do have a Stihl chainsaw that I bought when I started clearing my lot. I dread having to use that though. They scare me just a little bit.

Anyone use the MetroMasterBlaster? I see these are both blower/vac. I think I'd use it strictly for drying tho. IMG_2071.jpg

I got one of the metro vac. I ordered it from Bed Bath and beyond, yes that’s right. If you register on line you get a coupon and I got free shipping and paid under 300.00.

Thanks for all the advice friends. I am thinking I use my super sweet electric homelite leaf blower and use the Mother F’n Towels to finish her off! FYI I used Collinite #845 to wax the tundra for the first time. Not sure if I like it or not. Anyone use the stuff long term?
