Anyone add one? I had them on my Fords. I was thinking about adding one on Tundra because the top of the Tundra windshield does not have much tint. Not sure how well they work with the rearview mirror mount.

does it work over those anti glare dots (bumps) behind the mirror ... I forget what they are called but that area is usually not smooth and has the bumps ... the tint won't bubble behind the mirror?
other question, have you guys had any issues overall with the tint. I am about to do mine. thanks

I have a 5" visor tint strip and it is applied over those little bumps. I have had it for about 2 years now and there are no issues. that visor strip really cuts down on the glare.

I have the strip as well, it makes a huge difference. The shop I used has a lifetime warranty so no worries if it bubbles. I think I paid $65 with the upgraded film to match the front doors.

The lady that does my tinting installed the ws strips on our Corolla for free. When I first saw it, I hated it, didn't ask for it, didn't want them. BUT, the first time I was heading west into the setting sun, I suddenly became a fan. Fast forward to the Tundra. I had her put them on it as well. I like the way she does them, wider as they go to the sides. The pic makes it look like they are really low on the sides, but they aren't. It's just the angle that I took the pic.

I have one on my truck and its great. Just be sure to check your states window tint law, here in Louisiana the AS-1 line can be no wider than 5 inches and must be non reflective.

No problems with the tint strip or it affecting the rear view mirror mount. I would highly recommend it as it helps with the glare etc. Post some pics once you get it done.

Mounted my dash cam below the strip. I wouldn't go without a stripper again.

Have it, love it, can't live without it now. With the darkness of my windows and my windshield strip I now find myself driving without my Oakleys on and not even realize it. No issues with bubbling, find a good tint place that friends have used. And use a quality film.

I had one on my new to me 2014 Tundra. It, with the darker than average tint made the interior almost dark. How do you all read the dash, I wasn't even able to make out my RPM/MPH gauge. (3rd gen without always on lights obviously)

State law only allows 3 or 4” but I had them cover the mirror mount. No issues with the black dotted area.

I am going to get the ToyTec windshield banner next time I'm there. Should provide some relief of some sorts. Probably shoul go with the 4" tint and banner over it.

only in Alabama have I seen a full tint on the windshield. I am guessing that you pull the mirror off the mount and the strip goes above the mirror mounting tab. I have done several of these on other trucks. It is an easy DIY project especially if you have done a little bit of tinting before. I tinted the large horizontal window in daughter room. That was not easy due to size. I think I can handle a 5" strip. If I had thought about it I would have had it done when I had the windows tinted. Truck was brand new then and I did not realize that the Tundra did not have tint at the top. Now I just need to figure out what brand to order and how dark.

I did it on my tundra for the first time having it and won't have another vehicle without it. Did 5% 3 inches below As1 mark. No need to use visor and can still see stop lights etc.. No issues with "dots" on top of glass.

I haven't had any issues with the section behind the mirror. Zero bubbling etc... Overall, I love having tinted windows. Gets a little hard to see at night when backing up.
