    Hello Ladies and Gents!

    2 things:

    1. Post up your tundra with RKSport Hoods if you got it!

    2. Help me out with this.
Tomorrow morning I am going to install an RKSport Hood on my 2017 Tundra but im wondering if anyone has turned the Air Scoop functional with a CAI. If so, which one and was it worth it?

I currently have a drop in AFE.. but if i can make that hood work for me.. then let’s do it!

Seriously, that truck is bad ass. The new hood will be a kick ass addition. All I can say about your build is "WOW"! Definiately gives me a @waistband boner.

Not sure where you reside, but to make your hood into a functional hood scoop, there are some issues to be worked out. I would research the LP5 Duramax trucks functional hood scoop and what they had to do for combating the "weather" effect, especially if you ever plan on force induction.

Dang you might actually break this site with your post once everyone gets up and see’s a quicksand with a RKS hood. I’ve researched it as well since this is a mod I absolutely want. The S&B CAI seems like a good fit with the hood to have functional ram air. The top plate on the CAI is removed and matches with the RSK hood cut out. At least that is what I have read. Can’t wait to see you pictures!

Holy guacamole. Your truck looks great!

For the 18 sport hood, i heard that if they made it an active scoop it would have taken away from cooling performance.

So the hood is on and we had to work it to adjust it the best it can be. Overall pretty satisfied. Not perfect but aftermarket rarely is. It’s rainy and dirty so hopefully tomorrow is a better day so i can take some good pics!

One thing i did notice is the opening for intake doesn’t match up. At least not where the stock box resides now.

Anyone else mess with this and find a solution? This was RK response. 4838F0F3-7BB9-4F12-85DB-762DC3CB2FBF.jpg

Doing the hood scoop in black was a great call. I don't think it would look nearly as good in QS. The way you've done the 2 tone really looks good. Nice job man.

Wow I don’t like the new sport hood but you pull that hood off great! I think the matte black makes you pull it off.
