    Just bought a 2012 Toyota Tundra TRD-Offroad. Does this truck come stock with the TRD exhaust??? If so how do I tell? I get the feeling that it doesn't, but I want to make sure and I cant find any tags on muffler and manual does not help. Thanks

    If it has a TRD exhaust, it will have dual exhaust that exits on both sides right behind the rear tires. The tips will also have TRD on them. And no not all TRD's come with the TRD exhaust. More don't then do.

    No. If you have a Pro it comes with it. I added my TRD dual exhaust and have no regrets.

    Well that answers my question, Thanks fellas. That brings up my next question. Is there a different type of exhaust out there that is comparable to the TRD exhaust? Without the TRD exhaust Price tag???

    Flowmaster Super 50 / Dual In - Dual Out Exhaust BakFlipG2 Tonneau Cover TRD Rear Sway Bar
    I went with a Flowmaster Super 50 series with dual inlets/dual outlets.

    Has a nice rumble to it at idle and roars when you hit it.

    Best part is the drone is not any worse than with my stock system.

    mbrp exhaust, afe dropin filter, stubby antenna, Readylift leveling kit, ICI magnum RT sidesteps, weather techs front & rear
    Korncobb, MBRP looks identical to TRD exhaust, ( dual mufflers, dual tailpipes) except you can run it straight out the back of the truck instead of behind the rear wheels if you so desire, made from same materials ( stainless steel) and about $400-$500 cheaper! Check them out b4 you buy an exhaust! I love mine.

    Both @Relentless and I have the MBRP cat back that dumps right after the muffler. If you like the clean look with no exposed exhaust tips, I highly suggest looking into it. And it's only $300 on Amazon prime.

    Truth be told, I loved the MBRP before the supercharger. After adding the s/c it's honestly a little loud at low RPM.
    I've ridden in a couple trucks that had the TRD, one with the s/c and one without. With the s/c, IMO it's a perfect tone. Without, it's a bit dull and under rated. Opinions are like assholes, so take it as a grain of salt.

    Gents I’ve had the Flowmaster Outlaw cat back system on my truck for a bit now and love it. Just something else to research if you want a real roar. The drone to me is bearable. I just turn up the radio a notch....

    I highly recommend the Borla. TRD has a drone and the Borla doesn’t. Also Borla is made with T-304 stainless steel and TRD is not. Borla has a million mile warranty and with superior stainless it’s corrosion resistance is better.
