What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I ordered from him via ebay. Waited to see if it came today...but it didnt so ill be getting intouch in the am just to see whats up.

 

Ordered a second one directly from his site. 23 sheckels cant go wrong.

 

I almost did same. Hoever can only use 1 at time and asked bout the 4 off on 2. If I could have got a 2nd for 20 I couldn't resist. In order to do that, gotta spend 60.

I placed order this am and got a shipping notification with tracking # email couple hrs ago. Says can take up to 7 days. If u beyond that, then u prob got isssue.

Who knows, there's always a chance I change my mind by Fri and order a 2nd for another 24 lol. I think it's that 4 extra bucks that's keeping me from pulling trigger on another lol.

I know right, pretty funny, can spend 10-15k on mods but $4 is keeping me from a 2nd. I'm digging my heels in on this 1.

Ocala National Forest. These trails are about 10 miles east of Ocala. Over 80 miles of designated off road trails.

 

The comment was funny but I would like this, especially if I had red sway bars, red tow hooks and red piping on TRD leather.

Weathertech in-channel visors installed

 

Any issues with them arriving scuffed and did you order direct from them or somewhere else? On my last car I ordered direct after a bunch of reviews on Amazon said they arrived scuffed. Then mine arrive direct from them scuffed, sent them back and they sent a new set...just not as scuffed...I ended up polishing them with a headlight restoration kit and they were "acceptable" after that but def not perfect.

 

It would sound awesome, ive heard it already on there, I listen to everything from rap to country, but since the install I've found myself listening to a bit more rap since it sounds better. My boys love it too.

 

How are you liking these? I’ve had them for almost 2 years and I like the look, but it makes the window sound terrible at times rolling up and down. Plus the front one just sits in there with no tape so it almost seems loose and rattling when riding with the windows down. What do you think?

 

I wanted visors for a while but I mentioned it to a couple of friends and they're like "do you smoke?". Now every time I see them on vehicles, I think that.

 

Oh yeah that bat, u mean the 1 in front of my kids car seat, he's really into baseball and likes to play with it, that's why it's there, wink wink.

 

Yeah I think that too and it would be very useful for smoking. I don’t smoke, I really just like the look.

 

I like the look too, especially AVS low profile, good for when it rains or a bit of fresh air while driving, haven't bit on them though, installing front/rear footwell LEDs at the moment.

Where I park at work is a barren wasteland of asphalt and those vents coupled with a heatshield sunvisor go a long way in cooling the car off during the summer when we also have frequent afternoon storms so leaving the windows cracked is not an option

 

Installed Tyger Star Armor side steps. I couldn't pass up the price and quality. Many high reviews for this product on this forum and other sites. I could do without the stars.

 

No scuffs or any damage to the product from shipping. I ordered direct from WeatherTech site when I looked other places they only had the fronts for sale.

They seem good. Had them in my possession for less than 24 hours, so I don't talk them up or down too much. I had EGR in-channel on my Tacoma, but went Weathertech this time as I thought they looked a little sleeker. Funny you should mention the tape and rattle. I had the rattle in my Tacoma when I shut the door, so I added double-sided mounting tape to the front ones on these to see if it'll hold to the inner wall better. After install, I rolled the window up and down a few time and it was pretty tight, but they should settle a bit now they're in.

Not a smoker, but I like being able to crack my window and not have to worry about rain. Rain is always a possibility in Florida, even if a short shower.

 

I have the same ones. I feel the same about the stars.

 

Had them on over a year now still holding strong.

 

Just an update for you on those WT in channel window vent visors, the sticky tape that it comes with, after bout a yr they start becoming undone, took all off and put double sided 3M tape

 

Well, had my truck 2 weeks and have made it through this thread in a week...i can already tell, you sons of guns are gonna cost me a lot of money

 

Put her all back together...



And added black mirror backs...
