Yeah I highly recommend this spot especially if righty. It just feels natural. Very easy to get to. Don't even have to take my eyes off the road. Yeah this is the 1st time I've ever had a nice vehicle and the 1st audio system I've ever had. So needless to say I'm learning. I can say this, the sealed box is more than enough for me. On stock head unit around 40 volume starts getting a little too loud for my comfort. It's not like I even feel the need to have a system. If our stock audio both jbl and non wasn't so fn weak I wouldn't feel the need. But when I can't even hear it with the windows down on the highway turned all the way up, I felt the need. In retrospect I'm very glad I did bc I love it now, huge difference.

Plus now it's nice, if the ol lady starts nagging me or I just don't feel like hearing her or the kids cutting up, I can drown them out now and actually not hear them. Before,I couldn't turn it up enough to drown out the passenger, even turned all the way up.

 

Just pulled the trigger on some bling. I couldn't resist. Ajt is having sale 20% off from today til Fri on injection fobs which is a very rare sale. For $24 I keep telling myself it's a better built, less likely to break key fob to justify it meeting my criteria to must look nice but also serve a purpose.

After being gone a lot and putting it off for ever I finally had my wheels and tires installed. Also bought some spyder led tail lights. Wheels are helo he900s, 20x9 0mm offset and the tires are nitto terra grappler g2s in 275/65r20. Took out the splash guard and mud flaps, good amount of rubbing, still does a bit in reverse but that’ll get fixed when I get around to putting a leveling kit on.

Hit 1,000 miles so I went out to the national forest and broke in the 4x4 today. Made it through the trails like a champ.

 

I sat and thought how great the truck smells. The inside cabin filter smells great. Its different than new car smell. The engine smells great too. Clean engine metal heating up made me smile. Do you guys like the smell of your truck?

 

Yeah even 30 ain't bad. It's nice to get another product below 50. There ain't too many out there for our trucks so to see something for 24 or even 30 feels like a steal, even though it's just a key fob shell that's takes our already big and ugly key n fob setup and makes it even bigger, all it does is cure the ugliness.

Since unfortunately there's no mgm to match my truck I went with the 2nd closest, a cement grey top, black trd bottom, and red adonized Allen bolts.

It don't cure the bulkiness, prob even makes an already big n bulky fob even bigger, it don't cure the fact that it's 2018 n we get a fob that is separate from a key, but it does cure the looks from an outdated plain ol ugly big fob separate from key and at least makes it much better to look at and prob less likely to break from ring. Colors might even make a bit easier to find if lost.

Can't have a badass truck without a key fob to match. Prob should've ordered 2 but too late already shipped. @darkknight2014 did u get a notification that it was shipped from Adam or contact him to straighten out?

 

today I finally installed the red exhaust.....and it sounds absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!

 

Think ur auto correct did what mine does and changed trd to red. Unless of course u actually got a red exhaust, which I need a pic to see that.
