So I finally got my RTT and bed bars!! Who wants to go camp in Anza Borrego or Joshua Tree within the next month? Or even do a run from Yucca Valley up pioneer road to big bear and camp in Bear?

I got to try it out in Big Bear on a 22 degree night a few weekends ago and the thing worked like a charm. Bonus value the girlfriend enjoyed it even more then I did.

And as for people wondering about the Tuff Stuff RTT's they are great for the value if you love close and go pay cash that their location. Otto over there is more then happy to help.

    Looks awesome man!

I'm game to do some camping soon-ish. Always love going to JT and have wanted to do the run to pioneer town for a while now!

    Hi, Daniel! Looks good. Questions:

Are those the low profile Rugged bed-bars or-?

Also, how many is that RTT supposed to sleep, 2 or 3?

Did you use a heater (which one?), or was it well-insulated and worked with good bags and body heat?

I'm super happy you joined the site and are eager to head out! We respond well to peer pressure :boink:, so you should definitely keep it up. I saw you posted on Spvrtan's Anza-Borrego interest thread, and hope the momentum builds for May (because I'm slammed in April ).

Hint: start working on @Marty McFly. He's got an RTT, and a fabulous wife who joins in his adventuring; they're no strangers to Big Bear; and if he goes, we ALL go...!

Hey you guys, there will be a compressor mount for 3rd gen Tundras coming as soon as next week. It should accommodate ARB singles and doubles as well as Viair 400 series compressors. I gave my prototype to my buddy, @renosauce and he's redesigned it and will be making it stronger than the prototype. The prototype did survive a beating in DV. I'm not selling these but Marshall is going to become a vendor here. Here's the computer rendition.

Where will this mount? Do you have a pic? You and Bannock are neck and neck, bringing this online. I'll be looking to buy one that accommodates a double. Looks good btw!

Truth be told, I'm bidding on a truck now and will know Thursday evening! (Fingers crossed)

It'll be warm/hot in JT but that's what we have AC for haha

    To answer your questions @Sunnier

Bars are @Relentless Bed bars tall version with tabs

RTT fit 2 adults and 1 teen comfortably.

No heater was used that night. Just 30 degree sleeping bags zipped together so we can share the body heat and sweatshirts. Was overall pretty warm inside the tent. Was warmer then outside I can say as going to the bathroom at night was the only bummer part after drinking that night.

Thanks for the Hint. I was looking forward to meeting @Marty McFly on the Bee Canyon run but I had to bail last minute due to family stuff. We will contact soon once you are back from your trip and have some fun wheeling.

    Thanks for the details, Daniel!

I finally went over to the Tuff Stuff site and worked through the tents. Is yours the Ranger? I need room for 3, but that 3rd won't want to sleep "downstairs".

@Marty McFly, you have Relentless bars dontcha? Are yours standard or tall?
