I've started my search for some new wheels. I'm sticking with an 18" wheel and will rarely be off pavement, so looking for a cheap, nice looking wheel thats not going to break the bank. Anyone running 18" black wheels on the cheap....

MB Motoring. They're around $500 for a set of 4 and look a lot like methods. Their photos on the web do not do them justice. That said, Method still look better in person.

if you can scrounge 4 18" black steelies, that will be your cheapest option.

Rock Auto has the 18” round hole steelies for $52 each. Probably the cheapest option.

This is what I have, the 18" MB 352 style alloys from Discount Tire. Someone else said they're kind of like Method knock-offs, and I'd have to agree. I've seen several different style Methods in person and they all look a bit nicer than my MBs, but I think the MBs still look pretty nice and so far seem to be a really good value for the price. That said, I don't do any fast speed desert romping, just occasional light off-roading and mostly street driving. They've held up the past 2 years and almost 50K miles so far, but I'd expect 99% of decent alloys to do so.

yeah if you have factory TRD's, best route would be to powdercoat the stock and buy TRD center caps

me too! next set of tires I'm putting some aftermarket wheels on and getting the stock TRDs powdercoated

the only problem with doing this is leaving your truck on bricks or finding something to roll on temporarily

Agreed. Before I got my MB 352s, I was looking for TRD Pro or TRD non-Pro wheels, but considering their cost, even for used, I went with the MBs. If my truck would've came with the TRD non-Pro wheels, I would've seriously considered fully powder coating them. They're strong alloys and they look great in my opinion.

The MB 352's mentioned before I think are a great value wheel. They look good and DT usually has them for about $150 each. I was leaning towards putting them on my truck, but went with the warriors instead as I thought it would better with a little more chrome/black mix.

I considered this myself but the offset on stock wheels is a little to conservative once you level or lift IMO.

Wow that is a great deal. Are tires normally marked down substantially as well on black Friday? I may hold off on my 5100s + tire/wheel upgrade and wait till November.

I just checked on a place here in Georgia where I reside and they quoted me $200 a piece but that included them removing the tires then reinstalling and balancing as well. It would take two days to complete.

For the best price I would check procomp. They usually have deals. I got a set of all black 18" for the local 4wp. Pricing was really good compared to others. 60491199_2413983115319014_41079405485039_c741029463d7eaab230bc72bec47750f4941aee5.jpg
