Turn off daytime drls?

So I have a 2017 and added the 2018 headlights. But was wondering is there a way to turn off the entire headlight when parked to just listen to the radio?
I know some vehicles you press the parking break before turning the key and it will remain off.

Was thinking of taking to drive in but don’t want lights to be on lol

 

Think you have to turn it off and then back on. Mine don’t go on until I put it in gear after startup.

 

2018 truck have the option to turn off DRLs but not previous models, depending on the harness you have used for your 2018 headlights conversion it can be possible, if you choose EleDobleU harness definitely there’s no way to turn them off unless you turn your truck off completely but can’t use the radio doing so , if you choose the other guy harness I couldn’t remember his user name I guess is iHacker you can have the DRLs off if you turn on the truck with parking brake ON he uses the Amber factory DRL system in his harness for LED DRLs

 

To turn them off at any time you can also wire it to a switch

 

I would call this the “Drive-in” or the Pharrell “Get Lucky” hack.
