    Pics?

If is is the dome light you are talking about I removed the entire module to install the LED's. May want to try that and see what you have going on behind it. I know the lights are pretty firm to pull out. If it's not the dome light, a pic would help explain which light you are referring to.

I would take the whole thing down there are 4 torx screws I believe that will hold it up there and then you disconnect a couple plugs and youll be able to see the back side and pop it back into place (hopefully). I swapped mine out and just took the thing down because I had heard people pushed that brass bracket up into the socket trying to push the LED's in

Steve your not the only one who's done that. Both of my map lights are shot. I priced a used console for $50 . Just easier to replace then trying to piece back together. Good luck

Was gonna replace what i thought were bad dome lights in rear headliner. The lights constantly flickered and doesnt seem to have a functioning on/off button. Button are there, just dont work, maybe?

Same issue with front map lights. But one thing at a time.

Wanted to remove entire housing to investigate.

Anyone know how to take it out?
Had lens cover off looking for the torx screws mentioned earlier, didn't see them.
Think the 4 torx screws were for the front. Im talking about the rear dome light at
    this point.

    It's a 2016 Crewmax SR5, if that helps.
