It’s a vasodilator. Used to take it to increase the pump in the gym. Stopped since it doesn’t really offer any significant increase in performance/gainz

I had been feeling pretty shitty lately too. I'm 37, started gaining weight and feeling less energetic.

Last year I got on a ketogenic diet. I actually account for everything I eat and I've made an effort to get more exercise (I'm pretty active anyway but definitely not as much as before I had kids).

I've lost 35 lbs, have a ton of energy, still losing hair but that's ok.. I honestly think diet and exercise are the best bet.

It’s funny how our tired lazy asses' can go from 0 to 100 if you hit the right button! It’s like hitting the tow haul button. Instant beast mode. But then I’m fucking exhausted once the threat is neutralized LMFAO

I was going to stay out of this thread, but I’m bored...so why not.

There were two guys at work that did the low t treatments. Seemed to have good results, until they stopped. One just got back on it since he is getting fatter than before. Now he is complaining about all the extra energy, sweating, and bouncing off the walls again.

Some of us (myself included) could lose a small kid off our body (35-40 lbs), which is a lot. I have came to the conclusion that diet has a big role in this fight. Drinking 5 times per week (1-2 drinks, unless up at Jose/Sean’s home...then it’s on), overeating, overeating the wrong stuff at the wrong time, not enough protein, etc. This is a life changing way to live. Fad diets and get skinny pills just don’t work long term.

Now I’m sure some people have low testosterone, and no bs, this will help them. For me, it’s not low T, it’s just bad life choices, being lazy, blaming it on shift work. I have more time off than most people...so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I have had low T since early 20s. I tried everything u can imagine or posted here/will be posted.

Once it’s low it’s low. Only replacement therapy can fix it. There is no ifs and buts about it.

Yeah... those guys you mention know absolutely nothing about the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Testes-Axis (HPTA) and the impact starting TRT has on it. LH and FSH will drop to zero in a month or less. You don't get to just stop and go back to whatever it was. A version of post cycle therapy is needed to jumpstart things, and even then it doesn't always work. The lifetime commitment in itself should be a requirement to start TRT. If you aren't willing to commit for life - you haven't hit the bottom and likely just need to make some lifestyle changes.

The biggest issue is incompetent Dr's. Mens hormones are much trickier than women's stuff, where they can just hand you an estrogen pill and see you out the door. I fly across the country to see my Dr, and take much more than just testosterone to keep things leveled properly.

And I know its all fun and games, but looking at boner pics and "liftin' big eatin' big" doesn't solve actual endocrine system issues.

Never said I knew everything about the endocrine system. I know some guys' problems go deeper than lifestyle changes. But from what I've seen, a good percentage of guys with low t levels can bring theirs back up by changing their lifestyles, diet, etc. Never did I say it was a cure all, but it is a definite good place to start.

completely agree with the incompetent doctor part, it's worth time and money to find a good one worth their salt.
