Hey Emily. Good looking 4Runner you had there. I think my wife will be getting on this year.
Looking forward to the progress on the Tundra.

Since I'm local to you, Tuscaloosa Toyota installed a 2.5'' Toytec level kit on my Crewmax and seemed to have done a great job. Sometimes they'll send you a 5-20% off card in the mail and you can use it toward parts and service too. Used the 20% on my last oil change and transmission flush and added a TRD air intake kit in for me to put on the next day. Actually had fair prices on tires for a dealer, and then they rotate for free the life of the tires. Grabbed some Cooper SST Pros from them around Thanksgiving.

Welcome to the site Emily and Thank You for your service! You picked a good platform to build on. I have a super white Crewmax also. They look good stock or done up. Unless your independenly wealthy it takes time to fund numerous upgades, some arent cheap! But you will find some here that are.

Welcome to the site and thank you for your service. I'm prior service AF and my oldest son is in the AF, stationed at Mountain Home. He just purchased a Taco and is a member of the Tacoma.com forum. Truck looks good so far and I can't wait to see the build. How is the stubby antenna working for you? I'm considering, but don't want to lose signal strength.

    Haha whats your AFSC?

Thank you and thank you to you and your son as well! I love my stubby antenna. I had the same one on my 4runner. I don't notice any signal loss at all.

First up will be powder coating the chrome bumpers and then the bedcover, due to the fact that I need to put all my shit(gear I'm required to have at work) in the bed of the truck instead of in the back seat.
Then I'm gonna have to convince the husband to let me lift it even though I won't be able to park in the garage anymore....

That's not up to me. It's your truck haha.

I know for a fact that your gear is expensive, and if it gets stolen you have to pay. A pop lock for your tailgate isn't a bad idea. Also, Total Chaos upper control arms are always a good upgrade.

And a trailer for dirt bikes.

    Yeaaaah. Dirt bikes :anonymous:

Depending on the situation we may or may not have to pay. Yeah was trying to decide between the light racing UCAs and the Total chaos ones...

I've heard nothing but good things about TC UCA's, and I have them on my to-buy list myself. Light Racing....ehhhh..........not so much.
