What do you use this area for?

Like, what do you use it for?.... not what it's meant for. Cause, I don't really use it for anything. I got navigation on my Entune, so I don't need a GPS. It just sits there, calling my name like I should put something there. I tried putting my phone there, but it just didn't seem right.

Yeah... I put my phone there once... but the first time I stood on it, it went flying... I sometimes put a short, wide Yeti cup full of coffee up there ( it’s wide enough it doesn’t fit in the cup holders) on my way to work, but it rides there for less than a mile. AND I’m VERY conscious that it’s there... no fast stops / starts.

I put my campers backup camera screen up there.

 

It's a pointless bit of engineering, much like the map holder on the ceiling. And that loose bit of rubberoleum that is in the depression, what's the point of that? Makes it even worse, assuring that whatever is up there will go flying at the first tap of the brakes or sharp turn.

 

I put my phone there a few times, temporarily set an EZ pass there a few times. I dont get much use out of it. Thankfully I can fit everything plus the kitchen sink in the center console.

 

I have a silicone stand-up phone stand that I got from Amazon. It holds my phone securely, and I run the Waze app when I'm driving highways. It hasn't slid off yet.

 

I put an extra pair of sunglasses up there so when I take a corner fast they fly to one side and hit the floor.

 

I put a small pizza there

 

X2, dash should of just been flat all the way across.

 

My phone sits there. I have a case on it that doesn’t allow it to slide. Not sure what else I would use it for.

I put my sunglasss there when I am lazy. Turn a corner hard or break hard they go flying. I then swear put them back do it again. You could do that.

My cell phone has an Otter box Case on it.....setting my phone face down on that space is perfect ....does not move an INCH

 

Fastrak sits in mine.

 

I never put a damn thing there. I lift it up and dust from time to time..
