I'd like to replace the speakers in my truck with good quality ones. Possibly an Android Auto capable stereo also. I would like to put Bose speakers in.

I put in JL Audio C5-650's in the front and C2-650's in the rear. I'm blown away by how good the C5's sound.

I dont have much input on the head unit since i kept the stock. Plenty of people like the kenwood decks. I remember readying that this year wireless andriod auto was going to come out (i haven't been following head units so i could be wrong).

I do not believe you can get Bose speakers as a consumer for automobiles unless you are buying speakers someone pulled out of their car. There are many different quality speaker manufacturers to fit most any budget - JL, Hertz, Rockford, Focal to name a few. If you buy high quality speakers you really need to install sound Deadener throughout the truck to get the most out of the speakers.
Check the audio section of this forum, there are many builds and information

Thank you both for that information. I've had Bose in an old vehicle which was probably installed in the way you just explained. I'm a huge fan of their sound quality.

Bose is a good segway for consumers to get into the audio world.. i think you will be happy with JL, focal, etc.. if you want to spend a little less, I've heard Infinity speakers are solid for the price

Those JLs are pricey. Sure hope they sound great not just good. I have always heard to put money in to speakers. Just not sure my ears are that good.
