Had to return them because they were wired a** backwards. Company was very good and said that the whole batch they recieved was the same way. The plate cover is a cheapo autozone one i feel it was just the right tint.

I got a rattle can of bed spray, gonna see if I can fix the one I got then decide of the 3 which 1 I want. I'm waiting for that, front huskys, and an audio package to come. Been busy buying lately. On Thursday I was working in downtown L.A. I had to park at the Bloc parking structure. The sign said the height limit was 6’2”.

    It was not 6’2.

Got some light scratches/paint swap on the roof. 569A0BA8-60F7-476E-BC04-6451F60E8236.jpg6ABD58E3-75D0-4183-A918-C16947ADCE0D.jpg843831E6-CE17-4ABD-84A2-08FB2E054980.jpg

Needless to say I was not happy. So today I went out there with some Dawn dishsoap, water and a scotchbrite pad. Ever brought the Simple Green if shit was about to get real. It did not get real luckily. Just the soapy water and light scrubbing did the trick.

I did led's in the cockpit a couple months ago. Wear sunglasses the first time you open the door in the dark. Guys I work with say it looks like a football stadium when I open my doors. And these were cheap LED lights

HA! I did it more subdued this time around. In my Tacoma it was the same deal. Blinded you - the best were the vanity mirrors. The wife couldn't ever look directly into the mirror. Since this is her truck, I made sure they didn't blind her. These are 3 led as opposed to the LED's I put in my Taco that had like 10 small LED's.

That sucks but glad you were able to get rid of the marks. I will have to remember not to park there. Guess if I were to get scratched the roof would be the best place since I would only see them when I washed it.

I get stopped by state police all the time for the cover. Whats funny i dont even have a front plate but thats what the stop me for. Not sure how it is in jersey but im sure its the same. It helps to have the badge but it get annoying to be stopped sometimes lol. I made sure i bought the plastic frame one because of rust especially with all the salt and crap on the roads.

Because someone in a bigger truck hit it the bar and knocked it loose. He said he parked there a week before and didn't have an issue. And that's where our parking was being validated for the day. We can park somewhere else and work will reimburse us, but they will take their damn sweet time to do it. And at $35 a day, they don't like to reimburse.

Bout an hour, need a 6mm Allen wrench or if you have allen socket to remove center bolt and 12mm for bolt at bottom and it's a 14mm socket to turn tensioner to loosen belt and 5.5 allen wrench to hold tensioner in place while putting belt on. I did not remove fan or fan shroud or any hoses

Not to steal the reply from @aramirez73, but I just did this a few months back. Super easy with the right tools.
Check harbor freight for this... I also upgraded to the Continental Elite Poly-V belt, formerly known as the Gatorback by Goodyear.

Next change, you oughta try the gatorback brotha. It's ba!
Having the cross thread cuts, its supposed to mitigate cracking/wearing and reduce potential squeaking especially as it ages.
