My LED strip in retros quit working so I was testing wiring, fuses, etc. I thought I had turned the ignition off. I pulled the ignition fuse to check the fuse in the add-a-tap and this morning when I turned it on my check engine light and Traction Off are illuminated. I am guessing the I need to disconnect the battery and do a reset.

I’m thinking you blew a fuse elsewhere.

I thought that too. Like maybe the Trac control fuse? I did not touch anything but the IGN fuse and the DRL fuse but I guess you never know. Plan to check when I get home tonight. Now I leave in the dark but at least it is still light when I get home. Having the LED strip go out is very disappointing. I am sure the vendor will make it right if it is a loose connection but it is going to be a pain the ass to deal with. Not to mention my time.

Nope, after driving it 30 miles to work and one shut down and restart cleared the errors. Bottom line is do not pull ignition fuse with key on. Stupid on my part because I know better. Just forgot that key was on. Also kind of fixed the DRL strip. Bad or loose quick connector on light side. When I push it together all the way and engage latch light goes out. Cleaned male prongs and bent them slightly. Works for now but may have put some spade connectors on. May not best best option with thin ass wires on light side. I have some special connectors with teeth that are used for 24 gauge phone wire. All else fails I will use those. Replacing light would require cutting wires so not really wanting to go that route.
