    I wrecked my brother's Corvette (and 4 other cars) and couldn't afford car insurance for a few years, so my first vehicle was a 1966 BSA Hornet. Loved that bike. A few years later I got a 63 VW van.

    @Darth Tundra
    Sounds like our muscle car habit were close to the same. I am currently looking for either a Mustang or TransAm. I have never owned a TransAm, but have always wanted one. My fastest car was a 71 Hemi Cuda with 600hp (not pretty, but it was fast and fun). Should have kept that one too. Between that and the 67 Mustang, I would be sitting pretty. Also had a Dodge Charger ('74) in high school.

    Wow Matluth, sorry about your sister in law. That would be tough. Hopefully your brother will bring himself to get it back out and on the road. I really miss that car. a few years after I sold my first 79 Z28 I purchased another. A black with gold stripe, tan interior fully loaded Z28 with only 15,000 miles on the clock. I had that car for many years while I was in college. I sold it to buy a truck and I truly regret doing that, but the truck fell through and I ended up with a 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo. Which was a great car. I miss that too, I sold that car with 12,000 miles on the clock and I had owned her for 8 years. But she lead to me buying my Vector W8 which I guess was a fair trade.

    My mom bought this car when I was born. We were the same age LOL. I inherited it when I started driving. My mom loved this car. It was her first brand new car ever. She bought it herself. She had the dealer put on spoked rims. It was fully loaded. 5 spd manual transmission too. To be honest, in the beginning I hated that car. I felt so lame driving that thing to school. All my friends had cool old muscle cars and here I am driving this thing. But that card never let me down. It’s where I learned to work on cars. The worst part was the practically unfixable squeaky brakes LOL I did end up finally curing it mostly of that. And come to find out all my friends preferred that car. It was the most comfortable of them all. The front seats folded all the way down. It’s the one car that got me to realize Toyota was where it at. After this car I went through almost all the American brands and it went full circle back to Toyota.

    Thank you Toyota Corona I love and miss you! This is not an actual photo of the car. But it was the same color plus spokes chrome mudflaps and chrome wheel well protectors. LOL
