The original Fast & Furious came out the same year I started driving, so that bug definitely bit at the right time.

Sorta got into them, but turned out I was a minitrucker at heart. 2000 Civic SI, tubbed, bagged and laying body on 18" billet wheels.

It's still a work in progress, about to go pick it up from the "guy" (must be polite, don't wanna express my true feelings, might get banned for that kind of language) that I brought it to, that just decided to stop working on it.

My wife bought it bone stock in 2000, when she stole my 2 hour old 03 f150 super crew, she gave me the keys and said guess you can have this now.

My first car was an 87 Isuzu I-mark turbo. The fancy little car with "Handling By Lotus".
That lil thing was quick and drove on rails. Would out corner anything out there, could literally drive on 3 wheels.
The Isuzu Impulse of about the same years AWD system were originally developed by the same engineer who moved onto Subaru in the late 80s bringing them fame and fortune.
Heres the imark..not my pics. (Originally a friend and I were able to pick up 2 of the same cars from one guy who was basically selling one as a parts car. We got the parts car running too)

To each their own, I'm not a fan of most JDM stuff, some of it yes, but not much. Just like I absolutely hate the whole stretched tire, stance scene.

This car is where my screen nme came from, everyone asked why I did that to an SI, to which I answered because Ican and it got shortened to CUZICAN.

Eg was so ugly looking but had a full roll cage and compltyly.gutted. I would track it ocasionaly but prefer to pull up to evos and stis and woop them all day long. Accord ended up with a keeping single.cam turbo. Got Tbone about a month after i built it.

me too! A silver E36 coupe made a huge impression on teenage me, but I ended up with this instead (sitting next to my friend's former RS4) - I took off the front lip and put different wheels on it, but otherwise it's still such a great car

Unfortunately I don’t have any pics of my 06’ civic si. Black on black. Lowered on tiens. Legit carbon fibre hood and trunk lid. Header to straight piped, cai and dyno tuned on 91 octane. It hauled way too much ass for an 18 year old. Cost me my license and paying $10000 in liability only insurance for 5 years :( Good times buddy!!

Ohhhh yea... back when cars was the obsession. Had lots of cars. But my favorite was my Lexus IS350 and Acura TSX.... over all that now though.

Not sure if it's a Sport Compact or a GT Touring Coupe but we had a '86 Chrysler Conquest TSI that we bought in '87.

Pretty sweet but it had a weak clutch. I think they beefed it up in '87.

    Just like this one:

Bought a pretty stock 2001 GSR as commuter and to keep miles off my other car. I got bored real fast and had a NA/motor build along with swapping a LS 5th. Car rev'd to I believe 9400 RPM's and 5th gear pulled pretty hard. The builder told me to make sure I don't miss a high rev shift as I'd probably destroy the motor. To pass CA smog, a picture of the registration was sent to the DMV with $300.

I had a 91 civic si hatch that I blew the motor on. Ended up getting a 99 Integra GSR which I loved but traded and laid out cash for a right hand drive Integra type R. I also did landscaping in college, so I got a piece of crap blazer to pull a trailer. Between the blazer sucking and having so many problems with the type R ...I ended up trading them for a 99 Tacoma, haven't looked back from Toyota's or trucks since.
