looking for advice on if I should pay the money to have the truck coated. I’m sick of the endless battle with the crappy single stage toyota paint. I’m in a non stop battle with rail dust (orange spots) despite getting rid of it and using different products to wax and seal the paint it just keeps coming back and seems worse. Will ceramic seal this out or am I better off paying less for a professional detail/seal and keeping up a solid and regular wax routine? @SouthBoundSteve any recommendations on best course of action?

I put an entry level Ceramic Pro on my truck last October/November.. It was $400 and is supposed to last a year.

First two pics are the day that I had it put on

Are you happy with the coat @jdg1982 ? The lighting is different in the various pics, and its hard to tell on my screen if its the same or there's some differences.

@HybridGadwall I think the yearly one was worth it. I’m not sure I’d drop a few grand to have this done though.

I’ve been exchanging PMs with @SouthBoundSteve and talking to a local detailer. Steve has been extremely helpful and can’t thank him enough for his time and help. I’m not going to coat at this time. Going to go with a pro detail and paint seal then work a plan to maintain on my own and see if I can stay ahead of it.
