What snugtop do you think looks better?

It might just be the picture, but the back of the Super Sport looks kind of fat. I had the Leer equivalent (in regards to the window styles) to each of those on my two Titans and the slide-style windows were much better for my dog. If you don't have pets the "wing-style" windows like on the SS look a lot better to me.

 

How about the XTR?

 

Xtravision looks better in the shape of the windows. Also if you’re gonna sleep back there it would have better airflow.

I had an ARE before similar to the super sport. Loved it but if it was hot, airflow sucked.

 

That's my Xtra Vision. Sometimes I wish I had got the Super Sport. Really came down to airflow for the pup. I prefer the Snugtop shape over Leer and ARE (for our Tundras). Really happy with the color match as well. Had a ARE Z series on my last Tundra and the color match sucked.

 

Did you like the diamondback?

 

I like the ARE Z on our trucks.

 

That one and the overlander have my interest. Looks rugged simple like the V series but beefed up construction.

There's zero air flow on the windows that just pop out.. had a z series on my old truck.. now have a century ultrra sport with the windoors and removable slider.. so much better!

 

I do not like any truck cap that still has those thick framed windows so between those two, I'd have to go with the SS

 

That is the downside. The windows aren’t as attractive as the pop out windows. But they are more functional.

 

I have the XTR Gen1 on mine.

The SS looks better IMO, not sure what your air flow (as mentioned) needs are.

 

Pat, you might’ve just changed the direction of my build........

 

Glad I could cause a little internal strife. It took me about a year to figure out which topper I wanted.

 

If you are set on those two, I like the XtraVision better. The lines follow the roof a little better in my opinion.
