    Hello all,
I have a question I could use your help with...

I need to replace my Rotors and Brakes 2008 Tundra CrewMax SR5 2wd , what are the best options/ combos? I only drive 8-10k miles a year with a few tows.

If you are looking for OEM stopping power at a great price. I would recommend the Centric Preferred Axle Pack. Installed them on my Sequoia and they were great, restored my stopping power and was an easy install. Just need to do a brake fluid bleed and top off with fresh fluid after replacing if doing it your self.

163 front set (rotors and pads)
    137 rear set(rotors and pads)
    Free shipping too.

Bought them at Tirerack, put 20k on them before I traded it in.

I did power stops rotors and there extreme pads and broke them in a couple weeks ago I haven't drove it more than 50 miles but can tell you they will stop my 35 inch tires very well.

My stock oem rotors lasted 95 K miles. Bought a new set of oem Tundra rotors on eBay for $120.00. Good luck.

I have heard alot of people say that the factory rotors always warped so I went slotted and drilled figured what the hell why not.

    Thanks!
Is The install pretty straight forward? Any tricks? I’ve done it on other vehicles...

Nah, it's pretty straight forward. Just don't forget to brake clean the rotors before you install em to take off the rust protection.

Yeah super simple. I just made sure to do the break-in on them since it was recommended and you could definitely tell the difference after the break-in.

I wiped mine down with acetone but didn't find any oil to be on them like normal rotors butt wipe them just to be on the safe side. Lol

This is true as well... I followed the brake in to a T. It requires a lot of hard braking and acceleration so just find a nice long road with no one on it.

I live in the country so finding a road that wasn't crowded wasn't hard.... my son really liked the fast acceleration and fast stops he was in the back seat laughing his head off.

Trying to explain that to an LEO would have been easy... But no doubt he'd give a sobriety test "just incase". I was on state street just praying to god I didn't have anyone behind me.

Awesome. I’ll definitely look into all those options. I’m anxious to install these. I’ve read they’re hit or miss

I myself just installed StopTech Sport slotted that are cryo treated along with PosiQuiet ceramic pads. I have about 900 miles on them now. I had PowerStop slotted and drilled and they were warped pretty bad. Contact @eccracer104 for StopTechs. He is awesome to deal with and can get you a great price!!

I have power stops on my 4runner and they didn't come like those. Nor did the set I had put on my Matrix. They are good brakes and last a while. I bought both sets from JC Whitney though.

I just bought some centric premium rotors really good quality better than my ebc rotors. And hawk pads performance ceramic really stops better now..
