Or just buy the drop in AFE since you already have the CAI...save $325. You're welcome. ;)

Everybody on here will tell you to save your money since we all already have one, your OEM one, also to do the charcoal delete, and to just buy a drop in filter use money for a real MOD...this is MO

These K&N's will be the last filter you will buy. I've had zero issues with these since the first one I bought in 1973. [IMG]

My Tundra came with the TRD air filter so I just added the air flow accelerator. Spent my savings on tint, a-pillar handle and side steps.

I’m waiting for my air flow accelerator. Should be here today. I looked it up and it doesn’t look like they make them for the second gen. The intakes are different.

I ordered the one that it shows for third gen and put that to my volant intake because the volant intake does not fit up against the fender right

I used K&N on my dirt bikes back in the day. Used them on every vehicle I've owned.

Is it possible to buy just the TRD intake parts just from the stock air box lid to the throttle body?

That’s all it really is anyways. The lower part of the box from what I’ve read is the same as before except for the airflow accelerator that attaches to the fender. And you can buy that part for $13 and then a high flow filter of your choice in the stock location will give you pretty much the same results for less than $100.
