2016 Tundra Crewmax 4wd stock. What is the largest size tires I can put on my Tundra without modification. I think my stock tires are 275/55R 20..I am thinking about a 2" leveling kit and airbags for the rear so I can pull a lightweight travel trailer . What is the largest size tire I can put on with and without the leveling kit and how does it affect the drive in 2wd? 4wd? I do not do a lot of offroad but do drive in sand and some light offroad. I assume that a front end alignment will be necessary. I also have the stock fender flares (the ones without the bolts on them) and front and read mudflaps. I would not mind losing the front but I do not want to lose the rear mudflaps on either front or rear wheels. I read the tire comparison but it does not mention the rear mudflaps or flares

Thanks for your suggestions in advance

This helps but if it addresses the fender flares or madflaps I am missing something. Please excuse my stupidity

I've been wondering the same on 2015 limited, will do the bilstein 5100 middle setting, pretty sure the 275/60r20 would fit no problem, but would love to get the 275/65r20s in there, looks like if it doesn't hit the UCA there is room front and back. Anyone have this size tire with rubbing issues on leveled tundra.

Fender flares don’t have much say in tire clearance, unless you buy grossly too large a tire. Haven’t heard any issues with guys clearing the flaps on the rear wheel wells, but then again most guys just remove em when they lift their truck. For the flaps on the front wheel well, it all depends on your wheel offset and tire size. I took mine off because my tire/wheel combo would’ve rubbed, but I would’ve cleared the cab mount with or without them.
