New Belgium Brewery | Fort Collins, CO
    Juicy Haza IPA | 7.5%
Pours hazy yellow with a one finger white head that left a nice lacing.
Nose is fruit and hops, taste follows, citrus, with some sweetness and almost no bitterness; slight grapefruit taste. As a non-IPA drinker I liked it and would drink it again.

Nice caramel aroma & Amber color w/ thin cream colored head that laces nicely.
I get a lot of caramel malts in the taste balanced nicely by resinous hops. A well balanced brew that hides its 10.7% ABV very well. Worth seeking out in my opinion.

Ballast Point | San Diego, CA
    Mocha Marlin | Porter | 6%

Draft at Low Spark, served in a pint glass. Pours a deep, basically opaque brown with a small tan head that settles into a cap atop the liquid, eventually washing away into just a ring. Notes of dark and milk chocolate, cream, coffee, toasted and roasted malts, and a bit of earth. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, creamy, roasty mouthfeel. Delivers exactly on its promise - a nice, chocolaty, coffee-rich porter. Smooth and creamy and tasty.

    Moonjumper | Milk Stout | 6.10%

Pours a clear dark brown color. 1/2 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and slight lacing. Smells of chocolate, oatmeal, sweet malt, slight roasted malt, cereal, and slight yeast. Fits the style of a Milk / Sweet Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, chocolate, roasted malt, slight oatmeal, and a hint of hop. Overall, good apperance, aroma, feel, and blend.

I think @smslavin brought this one over the weekend?

    Double Stout | 11.8%

I was already halfway feeling great when @Areith762 stopped by Sunday. This topped it off and my speech began to slur lol!

Taste: rich, dark toasted chocolate, coffee, malty, molasses, with notes of oak and whiskey.
Woody, whiskey and chocolate malt nose. Black, opaque, with a real dark tan head, foamy, then breaks quickly with some lace. Full body. Robust, smooth, complex, coffee in the finish as it warms. Alcohol that will sneak up on you!

    Imperial Saison Ale | 8%

This one pours a good IPA, hazy, thick orange look, with a larger head, and a good bit of lacing.

Aromas of mostly grapefruit with Saison - it's definitely quite hoppy for being a Saison, but light in taste for 8%.

I love Ballast Point - I pick up a 6 pack every time I'm in San Diego. I actually have their IPA in my fridge right now.

Agree. Triple barrel BBB is also pretty righteous, and all about the coconut. BBB is just a great base for these variants.

Windy City Brew!!! Agree that it’s great. The stout scene in Chicago is at an all time pinnacle. Between off color, Hubbard’s cave, pipeworks, wild onion Drago, PK Varuna, Half Acre Hugs and all the Deth from revolution...it’s hard to pick a favorite. Oh. Almost forgot that Bourboun Barrel aging wasn’t even a thing until Chicago stepped in with BCS!!
