Just a thought has anyone seen or thought of chroming the Toyota Trd pro grille insert. I'm not completely crazy about color matching the white outline and bulge to match the truck color. And not excited about doing it in black. I am really curious of how it would look chromed.

I haven't seen anyone chrome the TRD Pro insert, but I'm sure they have some kind of chrome vinyl wrap that would be able to get the job done.

I tried to remove all the chrome from my truck asap. Haha.

Yes I'm in a quandary over it. Scratch off all the chrome with a butter knife or just go with it. I kinda like the chrome grille. But I really like the Trd pro grille. Just wondering if it would look cool and one of a kind or look stupid.

If you are talking about putting the actual black pro grille in with the chrome bulge and surround that came on the truck, I think it would look pretty good! Especially with those trd rims. Not sure if you can order just the grille portion without atleast the surround area though so you will probably have to order a white one and just swap it out with your chrome surround which is pretty simple from what I understand.

Just realized you were talking about chroming the actual grille. Interesting. Im not a big chrome fan, but I could see that turning out pretty good.

Theres a customer of mine that has done the TRD Pro insert in his chrome surround. Didnt think it would look great initially, but after seeing it it's not bad. Next time he comes by I'll try and snap a pic

I know that insert isn't chrome, but pretty close. It looks better than I thought it would!
