    Will be tomorrow before they finish. Software update took most of the morning. Told them no need to force it and I can wait. Want to make sure it is right. I have waiting this long so what’s another 24 hours or so.

    Purchased brand new SC from a vendor who purchased directly from Toyota.
    Had Toyota install to retain warranty
    Started making noise (like a jar of marbles)
    Took to Toyota who agreed it isn’t normal.
    Toyota flew in their regional tech to authorize warranty work
    Tech approved
    Began warranty work
    Same week- tech emails me saying corporate says not approved as didn’t buy direct from Toyota
    I bitch with corporate
    They didn’t budge
    Said fuck it- going back to stock
    Sold SC to recoupe labor for going back to stock

    Everything going smooth...just taking longer than expected. We decided to slow down and I’ll pick up Kevin tomorrow. They will button up and thoroughly test....maybe around lunch time. Will be another painful night tonight.

    I would like to dyno just for fun. I hope it’s more like 170hp...which ironically about the same hp my 1998 4Runner had that I sold just 2 months ago. Lol.

    Hell bed inserts add about 5hp plus I added the TRD PRO center caps to my OR wheels, heard that's like 2hp each so 8hp with the 5hp and I've got like 13 extra ponies.

    That doesn't count the other endless HP adding mods like TRD PRO gear shifters, rear sway bar, fogs, light bars, the list goes on and on. Some guys on here probably have close to 1,000hp and don't even know it.

    The TRD oil cap alone is good for 15hp.

    I got the swaybar! I added a aFe dry filter and I’ve got to BDX tuner on the way but I don’t think those at horse power at all only stickers and Toyota products.
