Mine wasn't the speaker cover itself, but the dash itself rubbing the a pillar, only noticed when it was cold for the first few minutes or if real bumpy road.

I pulled that piece off a bit earlier in the day after getting some posts/ideas on fixes yesterday. I’ve driven around a few times since with absolutely no creaking noises. I think you might be spot on!

Mine has a rattle but the truck is driving and performing just fine, rattle comes and goes so doesn't bother me that much. Keep the tundra, everybody wants all the newer trucks with "fancy" stuff, I'll drive my dinosaur and in the near future ill be the cool guy with an old truck while everyone has the new I want attention trucks with unknown longevity.

My buddy had a Raptor and sent it to have the Shelby package installed. It was badass. Over 500hp.

We just parked right next to a white Craptor with the graphics package. What a gaudy piece of Ford garbage.

I'm team PRO all the way.

You're gonna love it. Have you owned a light of this caliber before?

If not, careful with it. It is as bright as an exploding sun.

Yes Sir - currently have a streamlight and a SureFire, neither are rechargeable. I wanted a light that I can count on 100% of the time to work and not have to keep by batteries and easy to find when i really need it!

Hey @KB Voodoo - I got my package today, it is the mount and the diffuser, and stickers. There is no flashlight. Does it ship separately? Feedback appreciated!

@KB Voodoo - Wow - thanks for the super fast response! Much appreciated. Does the FL have a tracking number or do you know when I should start looking for it?

resale on raptors is pretty solid.

I'd be in a raptor if every dealer and their mom within 1,000 miles didn't want a minimum $10K markup

IDK about the rattle, wish I could help. I can tell you a ton about the Blue oval. If you don't like a rattle, best not get a ford. pretty much every problem you've heard about a ford having, I had em all. Dealer only items that are $$$, parts design that is almost good, but they gave up too early. Junky turbos, plastic oil drain plugs, shoddy cab bushings. Plastic coolant line connectors. Non-serviceable relays that go out and make your parking lamps stay on, unless 2 fuses are pulled. Ford is trash, plain & simple.

Amazing. Of all the Ford's I've has I've experienced none of those issues. Yet the two toyotas I've owned have been hit with vsriova issues. Lol. Win some lose some I guess.

:mudding:I traded my 04 F150 super crew in for my Tundra. I had 186.000 on it and a raddle from the lower sway bar that never went away no matter how many times I replaced the swaybar link. My 16 Tundra is super quite in the cab. This is my second Toyota, first being a Tacoma double cab. I looked at a previously owned Rapter for 47Gs as is, on a lot and it raddled too on the test drive.

That said, the Ford had more and bells and whistles but the Tundra is still my favorite. Love the power and the cabin space. I have the tan leather 1794 package. I don't like all the chrome though on the Tundra, My only beef. got tired of polishing it, especially the wheels and brake dust that clung to them.

Good luck on the raddle and keep the Tundra.

Save your money and buy the supercharger for your truck. If you are in to desert racing, then the Raptor long travel suspension may be the only selling point. The engine will disappoint you. I work in the auto industry. One of the Ford Raptor lead Engineers took me for a ride in a new Raptor. He flogged on it quite a bit to demonstrate its acceleration capabilities. It was cute. I then asked him if he wanted a ride in my Tundra. He jumped at the chance. After a few acceleration runs his exact words were "This is the truck the Raptor should have been". So take that for what its worth. He took a ton of photos of my truck back with him to Ford.

I’m 100% sure this was it. I removed the trim piece that covers the wires between the rear view mirror and the roof liner. The noise stopped. Reinstalled with some double sided tape. Still no noise. Nice and quiet... except for the v8 rumble of course. Thanks to all for the help!9E6584AA-B2F8-440E-BD64-EA3877A16E01.jpg
