    Got a chance to dig into the DV8 mummy wrap...The protective wrapping was so good, almost overkill, which is what you would expect. The main guts of this DV8 is definitely beefy. I went through all the small wrapped fasteners and bracing. All there. I'll get to the bumper tomorrow at work. Ran out of time. I did remove outer wrapping. I can make out 4 LED light cubes already mounted. No doubt not Baja Designs. I've got plans for that already. Will sub them out for 2 hi lumen spot beam and 2 amber fogs. No rush. Shit happening too fast. Going to have to file a complaint with @Almaboy. 2nd complaint......need warm weather to get this done...........

    By the way, took my gson to Bass Pro Sat for his first visit. You can guess his response. Turns 3 this Friday. Taking him back Friday after work. Got a pocket full of cash. Manny showing off his new bad ass (to him) snow boots....(Bass doesn't carry boots that small...Payless...what can I say? Payless had his size..)

    Just had my son carry the winch box upstairs to my room. His comment....."WTF!!" 105 lbs box dead weight..heh..heh. Need to check out contents of course. Was able to get bumper in the back. Got D-Rings???

    I was curious how I got the winch so quickly. My Invoice was from Transamerican Manufacturing Group, Denver. A little research indicated that TMG owns Smittybilt, Pro Comp, Poison Spyder, Rubicon Express, G2 Axle & Gear, LRG rims, Trail Master..and 66 4 Wheel Parts stores. Hmmmm........

    Cut these four cubes out of the bumper wrap. Probably 3 Watt leds. Two are definitely going away for now. Going to order a pair of decent amber fog cubes. Can't do much else at all until I get my freaking fender back from paint shop on Monday.:popcorn::frusty:

    I'm pretty much dead freaking tired. Naturally there were some glitches. Had to remove driver side rock step to back off one f**king bolt on old fender. The new fender paint is perfect. Too perfect. My 2007 paint is 10 yrs old. My new fender paint is 3 days old. Guess I'm going have to do the clay bar/polish/wax thing. My friend Carlos stopped by to check things out. He is willing to "age" the paint as in re-do if I want. Not a huge deal for me. There was some hidden damage to lower fender bracket. Not much but enough where I need to pull it out about an inch. Winch is mounted. Still need to wire it up. After that it's just a matter of bolting on outer bumper, aligning, and tightening up. I am somewhat bummed. There was some cosmetic damage to the powder coating in a couple of places during shipping. SUCKS. I'm going to Durabak the whole bumper and my aftermarket grille......Problem solved. Need to stop by dealer tomorrow AM and get some fender liner fasteners. I can then put my fender flare back on. Will prep winch cable Sunday. That will actually be fun. Hitting the mountains!!
