I would. It would help others. If it was in my neighborhood, a package in plain sight would be snatched up fast.

These are Amazon Flex drivers (contractors like Uber drivers). You should definitely report this shipment so they can do what they need to do with that delivery person specifically.

Yeah. That's not acceptable at all. I've been using Amazon s lot more lately. I have some bushes where Prime driver can put behind. I leave specific instructions to do so. If an item is highly valuable I'll have it dropped off at work. I have had no issues so far.

Definitely. You’re clearly on a pretty public street. I’m surprised that wasn’t stolen. Amazon is really starting to degrade in their shipping performance lately.

You can allow Amazon drivers to leave packages inside the door if leaving it outside is too much of a risk. Especially if you order a lot from Amazon and are not home. Many of my coworkers are like me.....have Prime deliver to your work. Problem solved. Quite frankly there is no "safe" place for a package left outside anywhere. I get alerts when packages are dropped off at home. If important enough I'll go get it but then again if important enough it's getting dropped off at my work.

Just watched the video; I would just send Amazon that video with your address and date of delivery.

I am sure they would like to know.

Yeah, I'd definitely report that. I ordered computer components from Newegg to build a PC for my parents a while back and some local logistics company called "Ontrac" left it in the driveway at 11:30 pm. I was pretty pissed to say the least.

Around Christmas time it seems like every package from Amazon was delivered by those contractor-type drivers in random cars or rented vans. It became a total clown show. Two different times I had packages returned to sender because the drivers claimed they couldn't find my house. My house is in a newer area, but UPS/FedEx/USPS have no problems finding it, plus I left detailed instructions with Amazon Logistics on how to find it.

Anyway, now that the holiday shipping insanity has died down, I haven't had anything delivered by an "Amazon" delivery driver, but hopefully they figure out something better before the holidays this year...

Was at Del Taco the other day and saw a car parked there with drivers window down. The back was full of Prime packages. I could have grabbed them all will driver was inside eating.

Amazon delivery is required to take the package to the front door. At least that's what was told to me. Had a delivery while I was out in the front yard and the driver told me that.

I worked for Amazon for 7 years and I've been a Prime member for 8 years now. It's a great company and they really do have a pervasive culture that focuses on delighting their customers more than you could believe unless you saw it from the inside.

That response from Siddharth in customer service doesn't really surprise me. He didn't need his manager's approval for anything he did for you which is a refreshing deviation from normal corporate customer service policies.

Until recently prime delivery was a sure thing. It said 2 days and that's when it came if not sooner. Unfortunately within the last 2 years I feel like it became less reliable. Even missing 5% of the time makes me wonder if it's really going to be there in time when I need it to be. Sometimes a free month of Prime doesn't mean a whole lot when the two day shipping (on in-stock items) doesn't show up for a week.

I hope they get it sorted out. I find myself buying elsewhere more often now if I really have to have it within 2 days.

I've noticed lately that when using Prime you will know up front before ordering that it may take more than two days. Sometimes 3 or more..but you will know before you hit..click.. And still faster.

Should have taken a picture of my shipment 2 days ago...they used my very heavy rubber front door mat and tossed it over the box and over the screen door and broke the screen on the door in an effort to I guess hide the box. I'm sure no one notices a large front door mat sitting on top of a box at my front door.

That is pretty lame. Sheesh...Maybe he/she thought to put the mat over it to keep it from blowing away until someone could steal it??

Absolutely report them. Since you have the tracking number they can pinpoint who delivered it and haopefully fire their lazy ass. And having video of it is awesome.

When I was buying my first house the UPS guy delivering the purchase contract couldn't get into my apartment building so he threw the envelope up to the un-used balcony of my 2nd floor appartment and didn't leave a note about it or anything.

By some miracle I just happened to open the blinds and look on the balcony after work and there it was. I don't know how he knew which balcony to throw it up onto or why he didn't leave a note.

Nope, haven't had the time and what would they do about it anyways? Screen is probably 20 years old.
