    Bright pink truck nuts.
    There's a couple different articles on here that detail how to paint over the chrome. The first time I painted it, I sanded & cleaned w/ acetone, then 3 coats of Duplicolor black & 2 clear coat. I probably should have done 1-2 coats of wax, too.

    That lasted me about 6 months before I had to redo it. It started to peel in spots from various off road trips (branches, rocks/dirt from other trucks, etc). I just put the last coat of paint on it for round 2, but this time I'm trying a paint that is for bumpers/plastic panels. If this doesn't last long, I'm going to LineX it.

    @Trevman2 , get those bronze wheels. I've seen 1-2 of our blue 3rd gens with them... The top 10 pics in my spank bank are that combo. J Lo is 11th. That should tell you something.

    I would have done that combo. The wheels on my truck now are from the PO - I bought the truck with the silver. It still looks great, but I really dig the bronze / BRM

    will have to see how it looks once I get my colour matched end caps and mirror caps. Might just get the grille surround done at the same time. Save some money having it all done in one batch and your truck has proven it looks unreal that way.
