Thanks! I agree with you much cleaner without the stickers, I have never been a fan of the sticker placement on the 3rd gens. They seem to high up on the bed.

Thank you for the input. This noise is so weird. This morning there was no noise at all. Every place where I normally here it, it was dead silent! It is warming up (80’s again finally!!!) here so things may be tightening up on their own. Ill check the manual and go over it with a wrench this weekend and keep an eye on it.

Not sure what these noise you're hearing sounds like, but I have a squeak in my front end too. At first I thought it was a rattle of coins in then console tray, but it's more of a squeak coming from under the passenger side if the dash it seems. I notice it while driving on slight bumpy roads and it almost sounds similar to when styrofoam is rubbing against something and squeaks.
My front end (passenger side, I think) has a loud squeak when I close the doors to my truck. My 5k service is coming up soon And I'm going to have the dealer look at it then. If I can stand to wait that long.

Pretty sure mine is related to the light bar I installed behind the bumper. I did have a high pitched sqyeeking noise that was very faint right when I first bought mine. Took it to the dealership and they couldn’t figure it out. They though it might be in my dash. One day I was able to locate it and it was a metal piece right behind the grill kinda near the horns. As soon as I touched it with a screw driver it would squeak. Other that that it was hard as hell to get it to get it to squeak while not moving. Took it back to the dealer and they put some silicone on it to fix. I asked them what that metal piece was for and they had no clue.

Any reasons to not run my exhaust like this? Seems like plenty of space for the exhaust to not melt anything. I have the tailpipe chopped right after the last hanger turned down and wanted to do something different

Why would you do that? During stop and go traffic a lot of fumes will stay under your truck and you will smell that stuff if you have the windows open.

Had my truck serviced for the first time (5K) at the Toyota dealer. Besides being free I am very pleased with the service, my oil is filled to the top mark and they washed my truck for free while I had complimentary coffee and donuts. Doesn't get much better.

Rarely have the windows open and does it make that much of a difference with fumes vs a dumped turn down exhaust from dirty deeds?

You will probably have the windows down more often while it warms up. Years ago I had an old beater pick up with turndowns and that was my experience.

Your truck and if that is what you like go for it, I just don't see how that is an improvement over the stock tail pipe.

Yep thanks for the heads up. I don’t like seeing any of the tailpipe if I’m looking at the truck, so it’ll either stay like this or add the pipe back on and have it turned down just past the rear axle

Probably a better idea considering we have the ability of completely opening the back window, right where the gap between bed and cap is. Perfect place for fumes to ooze up and enter your cab.

Installed my standard 8” exhaust and resonator today. Let me tell you, this is the best sounding exhaust I’ve ever heard. Makes an aggressive sound on acceleration and goes quiet when cruising. I tried to upload a sound clip but it’s not in the correct format.

Hope you don't plan on taking it through any water crossings.... deep puddles.... backing out of long driveways.
