First summers are the worst. Then your blood thins out and you live around the 9 months of perfect weather

 

Better than living in a Joon infested CA. I’m thinking it’ll be a step, even if it’s a hot one. I just need a change and Tahoe isn’t much different than where I am now, but with CA rejects hunkered over the video poker machines

 

I spent a week in Moab at 118 and up. It was tough, but we were camping

 

That's like the entire summer in phx lol. Tucson runs about 5 - 10 cooler

 

The heat does not bother me at all, but I’m full of metal and the accompanying arthritis. For me it’s more about sun protection than anything else. It was like 60 degrees today and I was bitchy due to the cold...

 

You'll be fine.
Rent a place with a pool and then decide if you want one when you buy. We'll never have another house without a pool. Some people feel the opposite.
for three months you just play real life "Hot Lava" like when we were kids. Everything is Hot Lava except the inside of the house, car and office - stay in those places.

This morning it was 5 degrees and the truck was muddy from snow slop. I still have wiring that has not been completed because of the cold. The dog can’t piss outside because she’s diabetic and the snow is too deep

 

I think it cools down significantly more at night as well. I grew up in Phoenix and I don't find the summers in Tucson nearly as unbearable as the valley

 

Pool is a must for us. There are some weeks where the pool feels like bath water but nothing a few (or dozen) ice blocks can't fix lol

 

I had to put on my zip up hoody to shovel sunshine this morning(run leaf blower).

 

Yeah nights in the desert can get pretty chilly.

No kidding. Heard a strange noise in my house earlier, sounded like a furnace.

 

Man, I wish we had a fireplace! I'd have that thing cranking right about now.

Freaking cold too. Dash temp was reading 38 in some places. Brrrrrrrrrrr

I’m hearing a buncha squealing vaginas out of you AZ boys at 44 degrees. It’s -7 and I’m outside walking the dog in a puffy coat, boxers, and flip flops

 

I am sitting here with the door wide open and the heater running. its almost not cold. Lol

It snowed out here in Vail (that mystical place way out on the East side of Tucson), yesterday morning. I almost considered wearing pants rather than shorts to work.

@PLC721 With that wardrobe, he may need to rent a place that's no less than 500ft from the nearest schools
