some manufacture don't offer C rated in certain sizes.
    I went with 35x12.50r18 E - no issues.

Oh I see. Then we can still be friends:D
With our heavy trucks I would say E rated just so incase you ever tow something and it's stronger offroading in the rocks and stuff. At least that's my opinion. And just a side note I went BFG in 35's when I first got my wheels and had to get them swapped out could not balance them for shit. Made my whole truck shake.

Yeah they are a hit and miss. My guys had a hard time on the last tire. They rotated the tire on the rim and set the balance weights. everything came out fine.
My duratracs on my taco/stock 16"s couldn't balance for shit.

I've got E rated 275/70r18 bfg ko2s. Currently on my second set of them with 0 issues. I tow constantly and I've always got weight in the bed of the truck. It's good for what I do.
C rated has a thinner side wall and less weight capacity.
    E rated is a 10 ply I don't have a clue what ply a C rated tire is.
E rated will ride rougher. I could tell the first time I went from the stock P rated tires to the ko2s the ride had gotten a little rougher.

BFGKO2 - Had 285/65/20 (E rated) on stock wheels for a while. Rough ride. Went to 285-70-17 (chose C rated over E rated option) on Icon Six Speeds and the bitch rides like a Cadillac. Until I ruin a C rated tire Im going to try to stay with them. Of course going to a 17" over the 20" had something to do with the ride.

Bump. Anyone running a KO2 in 315/70r17 load range C? I wonder how they compare to the E rated KO2s in the same size.

I'm currently running E rated KO2s in a totally different size (20 inch rims). I'm sure switching to a 17 inch rim and tire alone will provide a lot more cushion for the pushin', so going C rated may be unnecessary...
