Aight, ya bunch a sunburned flip flop wearing dirtbags!!!!

The pursuit of housing and job search has begun. 500 inches of snow with 40 mph winds have now crept into the annoying bucket and it’s time to shift gears.

There’s a pretty fly finders fee to anyone with a lead that ends in employment for me in AZ that’s not Burger King or IHOP.

I specialize in badass management, primarily technology and utilities. I can also sell An electric blanket to the devil on the sun, or hotter.....AZ. To anyone with pull, get me an interview and you’ll probably get a raise for finding a reliable employee.

Also, looking for “affordable” housing to move the 3 pack family I have.

If you know of anything fitting feel free to shoot me a PM or I can give you my digits.

I’m not dead set on a specific town but I do have a friend in Gilbert that I’d like to be near, not necessarily less than an hour if you know of something further. I need Mtn biking and wheeling fairly close, and a ski hill within a few hours. Flagstaff would be a nice transition from ski landia where I am now but not mandatory with my Gilbert request hanging in the background.

It’s not going to be a quick move, maybe fall time unless I find a decent paying gig sooner

Thanks in advance for any assistance

    @boardude @KevinK @blue16 @PLC721 @Tacotundra @olsin6 @zackbremer @TRON and anyone else I’ve talked shit with at some point

I was wondering how you managed to put up with all that cold-ass white stuff.
So, you're saying you're OK with working at KFC?

So my couple notes for you.

    1) there is a lot of affordable housing in the south east Gilbert area (south of the 202 and east of Gilbert rd (ish). Further south east you go the cheaper it gets.

    2) i would plan to live in the east valley.

    3) ski slopes are 3 hours from door step to lift (in flagstaff)

    4) I wouldn’t live in flag. Much more work in the valley

    5) get ready to burn!

Lol I actually did follow up my buddy at Geico but I dont think I ever circled back around with you. Shows what a good friend I am lol. I'll send you that info shortly.

Cost of living is cheaper in Tucson. And I'm based out of there so that's the main upside, or downside however you take it lol

I’m here. Literally 1 mile from Gilbert. Lots of nice rentals in the area, would gladly send you ones I see that are cool. Two things, told me you don’t like heat, it’s hot as balls. The other may or may not matter, school for your brood. It’s no big deal, but you don’t want them in the wrong school, and you can choose. The school year tends to be different as well, starts much earlier, nothing better to do when it’s 120 degrees.

Dunno how I missed this before...

The legs pack into the bed and the awning slides inside the tent. We don’t bring it with us very often. Like maybe it’s been on one SGU trip ever.

All great info! You’re right, I’m not a heat fanatic but I’ve also never been somewhere long enough to get used to it. The kids are older. IF Noah comes with he’ll be in 11th grade. The oldest is out and looking for college (another reason to leave Alma), and the youngest has gone to her mom’s
