Bad steering pumps or rack & pinion?

    2003 toyota tundra
    I have a 03 tundra and I've put 3 power steering pumps on it in less than a month could I be getting bad pumps or could it be the rack & Pinion??

    3 of any product that consecutively says it has to be something else. Are they after market pumps or?

    When I put the first pump on it started whining and went out the second one didn't work at all and the 3rd one whined as soon as I started the truck but it worked for about 10 miles and went out

    Have u flushed your lines? I've seen racks cause pumps to fail... ur also using aftermarket parts. They are crap. Toyota is the way to go. I went thru 2 Oreillys pumps before I learned my lesson and bought a Toyota one. Also use good fluid.

    De Badged / Decaled, Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags w/ Daystar Cups, 17" Rims, Big Brake kit w/ slotted & drilled rotors, plus lots of work related stuff.
    What the last post said. If you are getting the pumps from the same place, try another vender, or better yet, go Toyota. Several OEM parts online for a discount price.
