I was wondering if those were going to end up being junk. For the record, the ones BlueBottle posted in the OP are still working fine for me. The free license plate ones konked out though.

Rather than throwing it away, I was able to remove the LED light board and use it inside my stock puddle light housing. It took some work to remove/cut the lense from stock housing and glue everything back but it worked out alright.

I got the very same 1 because of that price & it actually got to me 2 weeks earlier. The brightness is very nice & a huge improvement over stock. Initially i had a slight issue installing it because the housing was slightly rounder/ wider than the oem lights but with a little tetris-sing it went in fine. The 2nd day 1 of them came loose but i realized the clip wasnt fully seated properly. Had it on for over 1 month now with zero issues. @famouzstarz was the 1 that linked the ebay listing & had the lights for longer. See if he'll chime in on its durability

My eBay lights are still shining brite and holding up I've been off road, going for fire wood, and driving over washboard roads and they are still in there.

For the price paid I definitely would not hesitate to order another set.

Did I miss how to wire them up for an sr5? Or which interior lamp wires are easiest to tap into? Saw some people ask but no detailed responses. Looking for some lower trim model love here lol

Just installed mine last night. It was so easy/fast that I was only able enjoy one beer during installation...

Thanks @BlueBottle for the original post! This is an awesome upgrade

Ordered these puddle lights from the original post, tight fit but they work great. I broke the OEM ones getting them out.

From what people have reported it would be a no.

Yup mine were tight too but snapped into place. Definitely light up the night though!

Do you know if the SR5 is wired for these puddle lights?

Also, is there a thread on how to do a mod on running board lights? I remember seeing one a while, just can't seem to find it now. Thanks in advance!

Sr5 is same as pro. So that would be a no most likely.

No clue on the running board lights.

I sent them an email today asking about mounting. It looks like it’s double sided tape that holds it in place. I don’t care too much for that.

I’m also a fan of their products.

I just had one of their $20 cargo 15led bulbs go out on me. Naturally they don't carry them anymore and want $40 for the new one. :(

Dude, the ones that we got are great, I would buy them again in a heartbeat, as well as recommend them. I can't say that for any of the other ones that were posted.

I went ahead and ordered the VLEDs anyway. I’ll try to get a comparison photo of the two.

5K VLEDs on the drivers side.

Drive Bright LEDs on the passenger side.

Wow it’s whiter and looks 2x brighter! How is the mounting? The tape really kills it in my opinion.
