Yes, I figured you're a guy that knows. Just saw you bumped your post, figured that meant you really want to do it Right Now, so I was hoping if I tagged a couple guys who removed that big 5.7 badge, maybe they'll jump in with good play-by-play. Good luck!

Rotated tires today and gave the inside a good cleaning. Wanted to wash but supposed to rain first half of the week.

Also noticed my cam tower seal is leaking which sucks:facepalm:Screenshot_20180211-173824.jpg

How do you like the in channel vents. I have the outside attach vents and been thinking of changing

Just use the blow dryer and warm it up so the fishing line (use at least 10lbs or so) will glide right under it like butter. You’ll be fine

I want those as well! I was able to score CK socket compatible Sylvania ZEVO Super bright LEDs for the rear parking/brake light cause when they first came out..I bought em n tried out and I knew nothing about CK socket info..so I wrote to Sylvania and they sent me free ones that work...now I want the HMS bulb and rear turn from VLEDs

Had to take the wheel off to do a bit more heat gun work. Got a decent pic of the front set up, very impressed with it so far. It seems like a good compromise for my needs, and not one issue with anything:notsure:.

I have them both on the 4runner and the Tundra. They are an amazing quality and not just "for the price." They hold their own against rails from more accepted brands that cost 3-4x the price.

had same kind came with the truck, never liked the look. I invested 45 bucks on the off brand one from eBay, love the look and have run the window up and down. Seems great.

I also have in channel vent visors , mine are EGR brand (around 53.00) and look the same as yours which look the same as WheaterTec. I left the windows up for three days and never had an issue with them not closing properly. They look so much better than the stick on version.

I bought that kit, works great. You wish kit was $20 when you see it, but he is the only game in town if you don't want to de-badge or replace with full black badges.

Ordered a Bully Dog BDX tuner from @dirtydeeds for my birthday! ;)
Shoulda hit him up for the birthday discount! Haha I noticed a little less than a year ago I ordered an exhaust from him. I guess it’s going to be a tradition. I’d love to sneak some LT headers in it someday if I wasn’t so worried about “the man” around here.

Mostly I wanted a tuner so I can firm up my shifts. I feel it’ll actually make the transmission last longer.

I also ordered an aFe pro s dry filter!

What are these? Are they rock sliders or more of a step (i.e., are they built to protect the frame, or not really)?

Can you please post a link, or tell me the words to search? And what year is your 4 Runner that you have these on?

I tried looking back to find the info, but can't seem to....

They are not sliders. I will eventually upgrade the 4runner to sliders, no need on the truck.

Tiger Armor side steps. Have them on a 2017 4runner too.

I love how I keep finding ways to drop 4runnner pics in here... Thanks @Sunnier !
