2008, I was the original owner. Main reason I traded it was I needed a CM cab instead of bed space. In 2008 I wasn't even remotely considering a family and large dog!

So what will you be replacing her with? I'm hoping, and envious, of a 2018 Tundra??

I just had a light-bulb moment...just figured out why my Toyota dealer has row after row of used Jeeps, Chevys, Fords, and Rams in their used car section!!

I must say the weight gain going from DC to CM and 4x2 to 4x4 was felt immediately.

My thought exactly, the DC with the 5.7 was a beast, easy to get carried away in the DC! I do like how the CM stays planted to the ground and I did get better MPG in the DC!

2011 Tacoma, as she sat on the lot a couple of weeks back. Loved that truck, but I had been looking at Tundras for too long, and life is too short.

Owned this Taco for 16 years! Bought with 2 mi on odometer. Owned this Tundra for less than a week. Love them both, but Taco now needs a new home. Just waiting on someone to claim her.

This Tundra is a beast compared to the Taco.

*UPDATE* Just sold the Tacoma private party for $10,000. Unbelievable!

My 2002 Tacoma. I have had it for 16 years and have not spent one penny on repairs. Just oil changes, tires, brake pads and wiper blades. Almost unbelievable. Also, I bought it new for $19,500 16 years ago, and got $8,900 for a trade in. There is no other vehicle on the market (except of course exotic sports cars LOL) that can keep their value like that.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but that's definitely not a 1982. That body style didn't come, until 1984 and ran till 1988. All though, that is a nice looking little truck.
