Take comfort or worry about that u guys sound just like me. I pay more attention to what family or friends are doing/drinking and very rare occasions eating than I do the road. I know check people's belts and bags before they get in to make sure pocket knives, buckles, ect don't rip my seats or scratch shit up. Had a buddy put a rip in my seat from knife. So now I'm paranoid.

I don't have any military experience like u guys and btw ty for ur service. I do however quite possibly have A.D.D. or whatever other issues that make me bug out over things being a certain way. Very detail orientated. I keep my truck very clean in and out. I just wish others cared the same. Between a fiance who thinks I'm nuts (she's right) and 2 young brute boys it ain't easy keeping it clean. I don't mind dirt, road salt, ect but when my 8 yr old bites his nails and spits them on my seats and floor I want to throw him out the truck while moving lol. All I ask for is treat it with respect bc I killed myself to get this truck and the way I got it. I love it. Most def don't do anything to it that would be hard to reverse beyond a vacuum or towel.

Yeah I'll admit it, I'm anal about it. It's so more enjoyable when it's just me driving and I don't have to worry about anyone killing it. I know I'm crazy I've already accepted that. If it can be reversed and u respect it I'm fine with it. Anything else drives me beyond my normal insanity. Glad to not be the only 1 though. Guess when u work so hard for it and finally get exactly what u want after sacrificing for so many years, u just want to keep it nice and care so much.

Not just you. I have a strict no eating or drinking policy in the tundra. I use to hate stopping for anything while on a road trip but now if we have to eat on the road, we are going inside and eating. If I pick up fast food I’ll throw it in the bed of the truck for the 1 mike trip home so it doesn’t stink up the cab. I baby the shit out of mine and think it’s definitely worth it!!

Yea, I only set them (same GTR as you) in the correct position so the leds pointing left and right. Didn’t adjust. I just sent them back and went retro....haven’t received my retros yet. Glad you got your working good. Here was my light pattern.

The right wasn’t too bad so after reading your post, I probably could have turned the left one one way or the other to match. Wouldn’t have been usable. Oh well. Thanks for the info.

Had this happen in my truck. The real issue though was when the coffee smell went away and the heat made my truck smell like rotten coffee cream for months. It was fucking brutal.

Same here. While I do have military service, I think my nature came from my upbringing; if I broke something, it didn't get replaced. The first time I met my wife's little brother, he showed me the stack of 8 skateboards that he had broken. I think he was trying to impress me, but I told him if he was my kid, that stack would be a lot smaller, primarily because he would be buying any replacements, not me.

Truck is down at Toyota service department getting the tires rotated and oil change regularly scheduled maintenance. This is my second oil change with only 12,000 miles on it. As you know Toyota wants to change it every 10,000 miles and I don't think so. So I'm going every 6000 being it's synthetic

Service guy just called me 5 minutes ago telling me his Tech looked at my cabin air filter and suggested changing it. I said no thanks. My truck hasn't seen a dirt road since I've owned it and only 12,000 miles and I'll change my own cabin filter thank you!!!!

No need to be sorry.... I hope you guys with these new 18s don't have too many issues. I've seen quite a few members talking about electronic issues and such. Not typical of Toyota.

Same here bro. Truck is warranted for so many miles and of course if anything happens to our trucks within the warranty they have to take care of it. But changing the oil more frequently will provide more protection down the road after the warranty is up

So of course I have to pay for the oil change that's in between the recommended mileage but at least they pay for the next Oil Change and so on and so forth
