What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I went with a version that looks like the original, but 21". It works, and gets me in the garage.

 

I got a 27" version that looks like the original, but it doesn't hit when I enter the garage and works like the original.

They rub pretty bad right now, as I am stock TRD OffRoad package height. I think if I removed the mud guards and pushed liner forward I would be semi-OK. I have Icon stage 3 going on next week and CMC with the relentless fillers. Hopefully will be fine after that.

My employer is very environmentally minded. I often get jabs from tree-huggers that my truck gets 13mpg..

It always makes me chuckle when I get there in the morning and park in a sea of Nissan Leafs.

 

So I went to my friendly XPEL dealer to get PPF on my new paint matched mirror caps and what did I see? The first Voodoo Blue Tacoma TRD PRO in TX getting a full body wrap...

 

But no snorkel?

 

Nope. According to the live stream today, the snorkel is optional. But it does have FOX shocks, the new wheels, the new skid plate and RIGID fog lights (actually says so above the light)

 

Too bad they don't put a real engines in those...

 

Man, that is one sharp looking truck. The more I look at the better I like the look without running boards. I do need them though for my wife, might just go the Amp route one day (once they figure the wiring out for the 2018).

 

That looks just like the Calvary blue color.

 

But those tires... I understand why Toyota does it, but it sure does take away from the look of the truck.

 

I was thinking the same thing. The Voodoo blue was announced this morning for the 2019 model, so it will likely be 8 months till we see it.

I am not a big sticker guy, but these are small and add just enough to make the truck personal.

 

Since we're on links, how about the top console tray? Does it come with the non slip padding in each section? Btw like the stickers, especially the 1 ur not sure about on scoop. Imo looks like it belongs there. That's coming from a guy who has not 1 sticker on outside his truck, I hide all mine in the bed on my swing box.
