    I have some other way cheap options, but I’m pretty sure you don’t want to pull the housings out from under the truck.

    Stay away from crazy Ed’s...I could give you an earful on that crook. Tanner 4x4 are even worse.

    Not a fan of any Offroad shop in the 719 except Armorology.

    don't forget the jerk who drives his honda prelude when there's eight inches of snow and can't figure out why he can't get away from the light after he high centers on the snow drifts


    in denver, the colorado association of four wheel drive clubs started f.e.a.t (four wheel emergency assistance team) to do just that. we used to work through the denver eoc. (i guess technically it still does go through eoc, but it's wayyyy more complicated thanks to gov't).
    the norco clubs of the state association still work with the local hospitals directly. much less hassle and expense on the associations part

    You’re so correct. I guess it wasn’t enough that we were getting medical/emergency personnel back and fourth for FREE. I finally said “F it, I’m out”.

    Probably why I don’t belong to a sanctioned 4wd club, and grew tired of always giving with little return to no return (especially cleaning up shooting ranges, never understood why 4x4 clubs cleaned up gun ranges anyway).

    i assume you're referring to lefthand, which was a 4wd area that also had shooting. it sucks that the ultra liberal boulder shut it down and cleaning up after aholes who trash the outdoors sucks even more, but sanctioned 4wd clubs are fighting as hard as we can to keep trails open and the adopt a trail program is a huge part of helping to keep the eco terrorists from shutting everything down right now.

    I have never been to Lefthand. We would clean up Rampart Range, Old Stagecoach Road, rainbow falls area. Hell I didn’t even wheel those areas unless it was a night snow bashing run up Eagle Rock. Now the only trails I clean up are the ones I wheel as I wheel. I will help out on trail maintenance when available for Independence Trail System, Carnage Canyon...etc.

    If I don’t get out more this year, I’m getting out of wheeling all together, selling my junk, sell my camper, flatbed, truck and getting back into Motocross bikes and a new TRD Pro.
