My buddy said he wanted to buy another Chevy pickup. So I started looking on the net. Then went to a Chevy forum, literally almost all post are about what is wrong with their trucks. I learn along time ago with a suburban. Makes you feel like finally the right decision. FYI I also had a Dodge Ram.

I use to own a F150. I was on the F150 often. Mostly to get advice on fixing. Talk about fanboys. I was chastised every time I said anything bad about the trucks.

I recently purchased a 2017 Chevy Z71 back in October 2017, sold a Dodge 2500 with a 6.7, and from the moment I drove it off the lot I was pissed at myself for doing it. 3 months later same dealership had a 2017 Tundra come in for trade on a Duramax, I called my salesman and traded for it over the phone, took my weak chevy in traded and have been smiling every sense. I've owned them all, Jeep's, F150's , Dodge 2500's and 1500's, Chevy and their step sister GMC, and this is my 2nd Toyota and I won't be going back anytime soon, if ever. Owned a 2008 Seqouia and sold it with 182K, and wished I'd kept that SUV. Your right, all other sites are talking about problems and solutions and piss poor quality issues and this site doesn't even compare to those issues at all. These dang trucks are bad a$$ and built to last.

My buddy had to replace one of his rear red corner one's and I think they charged him 135 just for the part.

    Right lol

I've heard about it happening to them off-road if they get a rock stuck in there sometimes they fall out.

This happened to my one of my who owns a ferd raptor. we were trail riding and he decided to do some donuts. Let's just say he had some tired arms when he got home 120 miles later lol

If any of this happened to me I wouldn't be very happy and I'd have so much down time. I'm at 123k on my 16 so I must be a high mileage one in the Ford statistics.

Those Raptors seem to get issues close to 100k; just like my wife’s old Jeep did

It’s a shame because I actually like the Z71 Trailboss coming out. Don’t know that I could bring myself to get something other than a Toyota though. Like the 2019 Ram Rebel too but DEFINITELY would never guy a Ram.

Bilstein 5100s, Method Standard 18x9 +18 offset, 285/65R18 Toyo A/T2 Xtreme, trailer brake controller, bed liner, camper shell. All were on the truck at time of purchase.
The only reason I would ever buy anything else is if I need to tow over 9500 pounds fairly often. Otherwise I'll borrow my dad's F250 and hope nothing goes wrong. It's a 6.0 though, so not too hopeful on that!

Ha! So I’m not the only one I see. I try not to touch it when it’s dirty LMFAO don’t want any scratches. I often say goodbye when we decide to take the other car and I say hello when returning and see that it’s safe in the shady parking lot that I it parked in. “ I found you Jinxy cat”. (Meet the parents quote) I may or may not have been seen air humping the back of it. :spy:

I was complaining at the service department about a very mild oil leak and having my cam tower fixed in the past. The guy checking me in told me that i had no clue about problems. Then he went list the work that is 2015 f 150 had done. It made me feel better.
