Just purchased my Tundra and decided to go with the NFAB Podium Steps. Not quite sure I am sold on the look. Let me know what you guys think?

Nice truck and since you asked, I don't like that style at all. To me they look cheap (I know they are not). When I bought my truck several Tundras had the Toyota Predator steps, they look like yours.

Welcome from Tennessee. I like the looks of your steps but agree with some of the other guys. A lift or even level will make them look even better.

Thanks for all the input guys and the nice welcome! I had the NFAB wheel to wheel loops on my 07 Tundra and 16 Tacoma and really loved them. You guys hit the nail on the head so to speak. Once they where mounted on the truck it really showed the need for a leveling kit. Next up is the Fox 2.0 coilovers. My wife thinks they look great, but what does she know about trucks ;). Again, I appreciate the input!

I have them and like them. Very solid and can’t beat powered coated stainless steel.

The only bad thing was the install. They are so exact that there is zero play for adjustment. At least the ones I got was that way. And of course 1 bolt hole was off by like 1/4 inch. So made it a pain in the @ss to install.

I wanted the podiums for my truck, but they only make them cab length. I wanted wheel to wheel

    Love the color!

I've come to the conclusion that the only steps/boards that look good on a stock tired truck are Amps (ie you don't see them when retracted). Alternatively just about anything (short of chrome tubes) looks good on truck with bigger tires and/or a lift.

I ran into this issue on the other two sets of wheel to wheel Nfabs on my last two trucks. They just cannot seem to get that one bolt hole just right. Makes it tough when you are lying on your back supporting the bars with your feet trying to line up those damn bolt holes.

Yep and the steps are so strong the metal has zero flex. I had to push with my legs so it would budge a little while my wife could get a bolt started. They should have left a little more play for adjustment.

    None. Keeping this one stock.
I learned with Nfab, just get each bolt in one or two threads, then adjust, and once all have a thread or two, torque center then work your way out.

mine bolted right up, no issues. As stated above (and for nearly all installations) make sure you get every bolt started before tightening anything up.

Just to clarify ... I put bolts in very loosely to allow adjustments. Worked from outside in and inside out. Didn’t make a difference. Brackets were either just off. Or truck bolt holes were off. Was only like .12 to .25 off. No big deal. Just wasn’t a super easy bolt on.
