Was perusing the Toytec site and ran across the headrest grab handles and it got me thinking...
For those with kids (or without), what are some of the "kid friendly" mods you've done or seen done that might be worth looking into?

    - Seat Covers
    - Headrest Grab Handles
    - ??

Wet Okole seat covers. Floor liners all over the place. And "do not enter without parents permission" signs on the doors :)

Guess the Wet Okoles are worth the price? I've looked at those and the Clazzio leather.

For me, yes. Water repellent vs leather covers. Personal preference I guess.

Good for spills I guess. Which, with kids is a given.

Nope. Drinks and food not allowed in my truck. If necessary, water only. Me? I can do whatever I want; it's my truck LOL

Booster seat- get one of those protective mats that go under it. It’ll prevent the indents from weight.

I’ve never heard of these. I wonder if I could just use some spare 3/4” gym mats... may be over kill lol.
Floor mats for sure if their feet can touch the ground.

I still say the best kid mod is a drop down or headrest DVD players. Mine came with wireless headphones but we have never used them. I had one in my 4Runner and put one in the Tundra the 2nd day I had it. Only down side is I have listened to Planes Fire Rescue about two dozen times.... I’ve never seen it though.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Have had both on wifes vehicles. THe clazzios were much better than the wet okoles. Best of all of them was the katzin leather.

Same rules apply for my truck as well. There is something about other people in your truck that has food or drink, as soon as it gets in their hands, they get stupid all the sudden, happens every time.

Well that’s pretty neat. My oldest is 8 now and she still has a booster. Do those help stop them from sliding on leather? I used to just stick a towel under them when I had leather. Would have been a good buy years ago. Now I have a good detailer.... plus I’m needing a reason to get some Katskinz.

Towel works fine too if you fold it thick. If not, you will still get dents on the seats. And towels are designed to absorb moisture, not sure you want a damp towel on your seats.

I got mine from Babies R’ Us. There’s a few different versions. I got the best one they had. The other ones felt thin and would show any dirt easily

    Yep

We agreed on 2. After the second, I had an appointment lined up and went through with it.
