    Hello to all,

    I have been resourcing this forum for a few weeks and decided to join. Our first Tundra, an 07 TRD 4 x 2, a 3rd vehicle that is actually for our soon to be 16 yr old to drive, aka his first vehicle. I was leery about getting the Tundra because of its size, preferred the size of the Tacoma better, thought it would be easier to drive. Long story short, son liked Tundra better, good kid with good grades and mom wanted to make him happy, we got a Tundra. We did search hard for about 4 months before we found one that was in our budget and that we liked and with relatively low miles, 129500. (still cannot hardly believe). Clean Carfax 2 owners with about 28 service / maint. reports.
    I am sure he will learn to drive it just fine. I also think it will be a great truck that he could possibly drive to college if needed.
    It had some after market wheels that were replaced immediately with some "take-offs" 2014 Black TSS 20 wheels with new Dynapro's A.T. They really make the truck look good IMO. Changed to Mobile 1 and Wix filter. Also changed serpentine belt (twice) and tensioner. This site helped me figure out why my first belt started to shred.

    As a DIY guy, I am sure to resource this forum plenty in the near future.

    Lucky kid! My first car in HS was an old 1989 Toyota 4x2 5-speed V6 pickup with an "old man" canopy (raised above roof line) that my dad wouldn't let me take off. We ended up selling it with around 180k miles and literally never did anything to it other than scheduled maintenance. Also, good call taking those old wheels off. :thumbsup:
