I saw a thread on here (can't seem to find it now) that someone posted about the spacing between the grill and the front bumper being different from one side to the other. I checked mine, and it was almost 1/2" off. I probably would not have noticed it had it not been for the thread.
I took my truck in for it's first service, and brought it to the attention of the service manager. He checked several other Tundras, including his 2016...all were pretty much the same....crooked.
He contacted the regional manager, and is waiting for a reply.
Check out your front bumper...I can easily slip my thumb in the gap on one side, but can't get my pinky in on the other side.

I adjusted mine when I installed the led bar in the bumper opening. I pulled the grille and the little trim pieces below headlights. I did this because I had take bumper off but you might access the nuts by just taking off the mud guard behind fogs.

Just measured both my bumpers. Front is about 11/16" on both sides, measured where the bumper ends meet the center bumper section. Rear is about 5/8" on both sides, measured from the bumper to the bottom tail gate edge.

I guess I either got lucky or my truck wasn't built on a Monday/Friday.

My rear bumper was crooked when I bought it. That was one of the first things I adjusted when I got home. I listened the nuts and then left them slightly tight as it wanted to be crooked. Then I stood on one side of the bumper and tried to push up on the other. I’ve got mine pretty damn close. Within a 1/16

That's definitely close enough for government work!

In a way it is a shame that they let them go out the factory like that, you would think they have a little bit better Q&A at the end of the assembly line. I guess it isn't as bad as a Ford, lots of the new F-150s get delivered with uneven body gaps, misaligned doors or flaws in the paint. If any of you feel bad about a little issue on the Tundra go visit a F-150 forum and take a look. I had six of them and as I mentioned here before the Tundra is a whole new experience for me, I put over 4K miles on it and not a single issue (except I had to fix the shitty premium stereo). I just drive it and put gas in it (just a little more often).

Mine was off about a half inch when new. I brought it to the service departments attention and they took care of it. In hindsight...I should have just fixed it myself and saved the trip to the dealer because all it needed was the mounting bolts loosened and adjusted. At the time I was just worried something was maybe bent and needed replaced. Now t

Took my truck in this morning to toyota collision center in carlsbad, ca for the front bumper being misaligned. I tried to get it cover under warranty but since I had the front bumper cut they wouldn't honor it under warranty. Went ahead and had them repair the front bumper for a 100.00. So I guess since the bumper has been touch no longer under warranty.

I have owned many F150s. I spent my time on the F150 forum looking for ways to fix them. Kind of like the owners of Gen3 Tacomas.

I had the same issue w/ my Tacoma. I called the dealer and they said Toyota has not issued a fix yet and they will contact owners when there is one to have the corrective service performed.

I know this is an old thread, but it came up in my search and I figured I would post the fix I did for uneven end cap gaps here instead of start a new thread. I tried searching for a fix, but couldn't really find anything other than removing and adjusting the bumper frame mount, which doesn't have much adjustment to it. I took it to my local dealer and they made the gaps worse, bent my splash guard mounting bracket trying to jack up the low side, and forgot to put the lower splash guard mounting screws/bolts in on the passenger side. If you want something done right....
My front bumper end cap was lower on the passenger side and from other posts, it seemed as though I had to loosen the 4 bolts on each side that connect the bumper to the frame. This won't help much with end cap gaps, it may help with the gap in the center, not sure.
To even out the front bumper ends you need to:
    1. remove the splash guard behind the fog lights. The one that has to come off as if you were removing the whole bumper.
    2. I took my fog light out from the back (1 small Phillips screw on one side, then slide it out of the brackets on the other). Disconnect wiring harness and set fog aside. Then remove the fog light mount. There is an upper and lower clip on the fog mount, I pushed down and out on the tab on the upper one first and the lower followed. You may be able to push both the fog and the mount out the front together after disconnecting the harness, but I didn't try.
    3. Once the fog light and mount is out of the way, there are three 14mm nuts in the reinforcement bar that have elongated holes to allow vertical adjustment of the end cap bracket and moves the end caps up and down. You can now get to them through the front fog light hole. Loosen these and slide the end cap up or down as needed. Don't reassemble it until you do the same on the other side so you can adjust both until you are satisfied
    4. Once the gaps are where you want, tighten the nuts. I didn't take a torque wrench to it, just made em nice and tight. A flex head ratchet works well for these nuts. You may need to use a 1/4 ratchet or wrench for the lower nut due to clearance issues with the bumper reinforcement.
I ended up raising my passenger side all the way and put my drivers side just shy of the top to make it even on both sides. The lower valence isn't adjustable but it is flexible and flexes to match the ends.
    Hope this helps you.

Hmmm, I took noticed of my truck few days ago and notice my passenger bumper cap is lower then drivers side. Then ran my finger along in-between the bumper and the grill and it starts fine starting at the passenger side, but then finger get stucks when i get to the drivers side, obviously being misaligned.

I'll post some pics because i was curious how to realign this, and i think pit808 solved my question. has anyone tried this? here are mine, i feel retarded because i never paid any attention to this and no one has ever said something lol, not untill i looked!

my 2018 looks like that but it’s after a new front end. Hit a deer dead center. Prior to that the bumper was perfect level.

Took it to the dealership last Saturday for maintenance and to have them fix the misaligned front bumper. They took care of everything else but said that Toyota said that they couldn’t adjust the front bumper because of its part of the body of the truck. I opened a case with Toyota for this issue. My Service Advisor even said his Tundra is the same as mine and he wants it fixed as well. I told him about this post. I said I’d do it myself but, he pointed out to me that it could void the warranty on my Tundra which I don’t believe. Anybody else having issues getting your bumper adjusted ?

I didn’t notice on my 2019 pro until I installed bumper shims. I thought It was me the one. Kept taking shims off then on and so on I couldn’t figure it out. Then I started looking at old pics and it was crooked from new lol. So the way I fix it is behind the fog light you have 4 or 3 nuts I think can’t remember losing them and adjust up or down. I had to take off fog light to get to them tho on the pro. Easy fix... but I have notice other tundra just sitting there crooked lol

Something I noticed soon after picking up the truck. Been meaning to look into it adjusting it. Have we found out if this can be fixed with a few bolt twists or something needed to take to the dealership?

Mine was really crooked when I bought it. I was going to deal with it myself then decided to just let the dealership deal with it. The dealership worked on it for a few hours without success, so they ended up sending it out to a body shop who was able to fix it within an hour or two. It's much better now. It was really driving me nuts!

Recall/warranty work or did it cost you to have it fixed?

I tried to youtube it and couldn't come up with much. But if it's that easy I may try it, is it supposed to be flush or have a gap on both sides?

Edit: I'll probably just raise my passenger side up (if you reference the picture)
