So, the lease is up on my wife’s Highlander. She’s been browsing at the 2018 Camry’s. Not only do they have that sex appeal, but it’s cheaper than her suv, and with an 8 speed trans, the gas mileage is double than what she was getting.

I called a personal friend (sales manager at Toyota) and then went to the dealer Saturday night while she thinks I was off helping a friend move.

Today, I went back to sign. (Keep in mind she has no idea what I’ve been doing) They’ll deliver it this evening and take her Highlander back with them.

I think (hope) she’ll be psyched when she sees what is in the driveway when I find the next bs excuse to get her to come to the garage for some reason at night.

The new Camry's are badass. My mom bought a new one a few months ago and she loves it. She traded in a 2015 dc Tacoma.

Why? She will need those to clean the wheels as they are smaller and lower to the ground now. You're the one with the dirty mind ;)

My wife would kill me. She likes to make those decisions on her own after months / years of procrastination. Only took me 10 years to talk her into me getting a Tundra. ;)

Camry's are just solid vehicles. My wife has a 2012 and we haven't had one single thing go wrong with it in just over 6 years of having it. It will be my DD when she wants something new. Only has 50k on it.

    You did good Sean!

Great choice, I think Toyota did an awesome job on them. I sat in one at the auto show and really liked it.
